. we're shocked, appalled by the allegations. >> outrage this morning there parents who relied on prince george's county schools to protect their children. a new lawsuit claims sylvania woods element the taker school principal michelle williams knew about the violence against the children and did nothing to stop it. police say 22-year-old deonte carraway may hav abused up to 30 children. megan mcgrath is live at sylvania woods with information on a new hotline opening today for potential victims. >> reporter: investigators want to hear there anyone who may have been victimized by deonte carraway. they believe there are potentially a lot more victims out there. they set up a

contact with police. that 301-772-4930. again, that will put you in contact with investigators in this case. kou counselors will be here at the school today to talk with students about what has happened and their concerns. and tonight, parents will be updated and have a chance to voice their concerns during a meeting taking place here at the school. as you would imagine, there is a sense of concern and outrage that a school aide could sexually abuse children right on school grounds. and a guardian of one of the victims reported his suspicions about the abuse to school officials and no immediate action was taken against deonte carraway. the principal here has been removed, placed on leave. a lawsuit has been filed. meanwhile carraway is accused of abusing and videotaping at least 11 children, he's in jail facing 40 counts ofh

people grabbing lunch in harper county outside baltimore. a deputy was shot and killed at point blank range inside a panera, another deputy killed in a shoot-out with the suspect. investigators try to figure out why this happened. the sheriff believes the motive was simply to kill law enforcement officers. the first deputy responded to the panera for reports of a person causing problems yesterday afternoon. witnesses say the officer sat down next to the man and asked how he was doing. that's when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the deputy in the head. the suspect ran off and was. >>ly killed in a shoot skrout with police officers. the sheriff says the suspect was also wanted in florida for assaulting a police officer. the names have not been relea d released. new steps taken today to fight the zika virus. congress is considering a

live desk. police officer shot in a standoff in fargo. 33-year-old officer jason mozier was called to the scene of a domestic dispute where a man had allegedly fired a a weapon at his wife. when the officer arrived, the suspect fired outside the home and struck the officer. the officer is not expected to survive his injuries. police still on the scene right now in fargo, north dakota. it's 5:55. and this morning, we're working to learn how a baby boy died after being left at home. the baby and his five siblings were left in that home alone yesterday in northwest washington. the baby was rushed to the hospital after a sibling called 911 for help. the other children are all under the age of 10. >> very surprising. very surprising that something like that would hamp. coming home after work, about six cop cars parked outside. no people around, just
