we start by telling you nobody was hurt in either. first, there was this barn fire at the wood month country club in rockville. you take a look at the flames here. extensive all over the roof it seems. 75 firefighters responded there overnight. they say it is still burpining t it is under control. potomac, firefighters there battling a blaze on glenn road. it started -- rather, destroyed a chicken coop and killed 25 chickens inside. a car was also damaged. i'm surprised about how long it took for, you know, something to be done. >> frustrated parents are taking their message to prince george's county schools, demanding to know why students were allowed to be sexually abused. now another student has come forward and more lawsuits have been filed involving sexual abuse at judge sylvania woods elementary school.

how 22-year-old deonte carraway could abuse at least a dozen victims and go untee texted. the lawsuit claims some of the abuse happened on school property. so far police say they have located 12 victims. >> unfortunately, the more we keep looking, the more we keep finding and the broader the whole matter seems to be getting. >> the mother of an 11-year-old victim filed a new civil lawsuit. now, leaders at prince george's county schools are taking action to try to prevent future abuse. in addition to the public meetings, the district put together a task force to review its current policies. next week principals are having mandatory meetings with staff to go over abuse training and reporting. counselors are also meeting with students about inappropriate contact in the eonte carraway w volunteer and youth choir

and the tractor trailer off to the right. there is also a passenger vehicle, a sedan of some kind it appears on the back of that flat bed truck. those are the vehicles involved in this accident. happened just not the long ago. and you can see the impact it's having on the area. if you are headed southbound, there is only one lane getting by to the right. so if you're headed inbound into town, only one right hand lane getting by. if you're headed northbound, there are two lanes open and two lanes closed. needless to say, we are already starting to see the backups. so it will be a problem for a while yet. back to you all. it's 5:24. major developments in the effort to end the fighting in syria. the u.s., russia and more than a dozen other countries have agreed to a cease-fire in syria that would begin next week. once that happens, the u.s. and russia both plan to deliver the country more humanitarian aid. the agreement would stop the fighting between rebels and the

still being made, the harford county sheriff's office is taking time to remember the two men who died in the line of duty. patrick dailey was a 30 year veteran of the agency. mark logsdon served time with the sheriff's office for 16 years. both were military veterans and decorated officers who left families behind. dailey was shot inside the panera restaurant on wednesday. logsdon was killed of a at the being shot in the parking lot. the sheriffs say suspect david evans targeted the deputies. >> it's our belief that because he knew there was a rwarrant ou for his arrest that that is why he took the action against the police officer. we don't believe he laid in wait to ambush. >> evans was killed in a shoot-out with police. he had a long history of violence, including allegations that he may have shot his ex-wife in 1997.

breaking news at 6:00 a.m., a crash involving a car and truck making a mess of traffic on i-95 in maryland. the backup continues to build there new scaggsville road. >> and that's where we find megan mcgrath. what are you finding out? >> reporter: well, i do have good news to report here. if we can pan off, just within the last few minutes, state highway crews were able to reopen yet another lane here. the truck has just been towed from the scene. we now have three lanes at the time getting by in a southbound direction. we still have major delays through the area because we were down to just one lane for an extended period of time, but we are starting to see things begin to ease up a little

time, but we now have additional lanes open both southbound and looking across to the north bound side, it looks like we may have three lanes open in the northbound direction, as well p but this has been a problem throughout the early morning rush hour. we had a tractor trailer headed southbound. it got into an accident with a car, went off the roadway into the median and then the front part, the cab section of the truck, went into the left hand lane in the northbound direction. there was a debris field, so they had to clean all of that up. tremendous progress being made this morning here. still an issue in terms of traffic because it was blocked up here for a while. but we are starting to see things improve. so that's good news. give it a little while longer, though, before we see thing go back to normal. now over to melissa mollett. >> so we have chopper 4 over you here this morning. white lights, southbound 95. a 3 mile backup there. and about a 1 mile backup headed northbound there near
