responsible for both. the first happened at 9:20 this morning at this pnc bank on old georgetown road in bethesda and 25 minutes later a man robbed the m & t bank on montgomery avenue in kensington. nobody injured. all right. to the race for the white house now and the final republican debate before the south carolina primary. gop hopefuls square off in greenville tonight, officials took part in a walk-through and adding finishing touches to the stage. according to the latest poll, donald trump is leading the race with senators ted cruz and marco rubio? a battle for second. john kasich, jeb bush and ben carson round out the field. civil rights leader john lewis softening his comments about vermont senator brernie sanders. this week he dismissed his work in the civil rights movement claiming he never saw or worked with him. he's clarifying his remarks in the interest of unity. lewis sae

you don't have to go outside. trust me on that. we're live outside of rockville town center. the ice skating rink. right now it's quiet, because they're out there smoothing out the rink, but trust me. about an hour ago, there were more than a dozen people out ice skating in this bitterly cold weather. we want to show video of real troopers out there today doing an undy run in washington. a big crowd for that. you might think maybe people wouldn't come out this year? but they certainly did and for a good cause. for kids with tumors. also a lot of people out doing their thing, getting in their regular exercise, despite the cold, but i can tell you, even here in rockville, there's not ate of people outside. there are people inside the restaurants, but we see very few people out walking around. i spoke to a doctor earlier today. he's saying, if you need to go out, limit it to 10, 15, 20 minutes at the most. make sure you have on your hat. your gloves, and dress in layers and prepared. the st

we'll have lighter winds, but because of the cold, the weather still having a moderate impact on your day. clouds slowly increase throughout the day tomorrow. here's your hourly planner. 7:00 a.m., feeling anywhere from 5 below to 5 above. factor in even a light wind. mostly sunny skies, temperature around 12. lunchtime hour, low 20s. you can see clouds increasing. by 4:00, high temperature of 24 degrees, feeling more like teens at that point with winds at about five to ten miles an hour. by 7:00 p.m., still dry, but mostly cloudy, and a temperature around 20. avoiding travel probably a good idea for your president's day. my road forecast. monday morning on into the midday hours dealing with snow-covered roads transitioning into the afternoon and evening hours. the concern not only for snow-covered roads but potent l potentially ice as well especially for areas west of i-95. montgomery, fairfax, frederick,
