brown. breaking overnight, four dead after 19 tornados reportedly touched down along the east coast yesterday. two people including a 2-year-old boy were found dead in waverly. they enacted a 7:00 p.m. curfew as first responders continue searching door to door for missing residents. the county associated with robert e. lee's surrender back to a post apocalyptic battle ground and turning entire neighborhoods to rubble. this has already claimed the lives of four others in the south. the massive ef 3 tornado that hit pensacola, florida with winds topping out at 155 miles per hour, the strongest of the year. and one

county. and potomac edison reporting about 1500 outages in berkeley county. we'll follow any changes and let you know as the outages get fixed. back to you. cleanup begins after last night's severe storms. if you were outside, you know just how powerful the rain was. the heavy rain quickly caused a lot of flooding in most parts of our area. crews are working to restore power in some places where strong winds brought down some trees right on to those power line. so we'll start with the flooding here. we always say never drive through high water. some people don't listen. in laeralexandria, firefightered to use a cherry picker to rescue a woman on cherokee avenue. the woman's car got stuck as she tried to drive through the standing water there. >> and the same thing happened to a man on eastern avenue in northeast washington. he was picking up his father from

he'd be annuble to get through water. well, he was wrong. the man says his engine just shut off and the bottom of the car filled with water. everyone was okay. >> and imagine this happening to your home. this is silver spring. water seeped into a basement and the pressure caused the cinder block wall there to collapse. the homeowner was actually in the pavement at the time and got pinned under the cinder blocks. paramedics rushed him to the hospital. he is expected to be okay. firefighters say the home is no longer structurally sound. at least eight tornadoes hit virginia during the storm. take a look at this funnel cloud from one that hit southwest of richmond. the tornado cut a ten mile path of destruction. police are searching for one missing man whose home was destroyed in the storm. in a small town of waverly, two men and a 2-year-old boy were killed when wids
