>> no question, jim. and while trump is certainly going to get the win here in the commonwealth of virginia, it's rubio's performance that's getting a lot of attention. for rubio, it's going do be 16. for trump, 17. just one delegate in the difference. we caught up with trump's chairman for his party right here in virginia. i asked him what he makes of this tight race here. >> we knew because of northern virginia which tends to support more established candidates, it was going to benefit rubio. so it's pretty much exactly what we expected for virginia. >> just a short time ago, we caught up with some of the local republican leaders here. i asked them about rubio's strong showing. what does that suggest? >> when you

the act make sense. >> more than six years after her daughter was abducted and murdered, jesse matthew was expected to make a plea deal tomorrow. the college students were abducted in charlottesville and murdered five years apart. matthew is charged in both cases and is also serving a life sentence for a sex assault. >> children's futures are in question after almost half a century, a local art center is about to close. >> since 1974, afarntly, kids from five schools are bussed in one day a week for classes ranging from band to dance to digital arts. parents we talked with say their kids love the experience.

>> with've got a lot more warm weather in the forecast. we go back to wait a minuter for at least a little bit. out there right now, look at the temperature. still very mild. 61 degrees, winds out ft south at about 17 miles an hour. the temperatures there about to take a huge, huge nose dive. look at these wind gusts. up to 32 miles an hour. 26 in d.c. cumberland, maryland. 50 miles per hour. peters burg, 47. that's what i'm watching come into the area. and that wind is going to just knock those temperatures down by some 20-30 degrees by early tomorrow morning. here's the shower activity we've across the region right now. again, just some shower activity. those winds coming with the heavier showers that are just back to the west here:

for those strong winds. and in behind this, that's where you have the very cold air. so once again, waking um tomorrow morning, you're going to feel the difference. at 11:00, not much going on. right around 1:00, that's when we see the line come through. would not be surprised to see a little rumble of thunder. that moves through quickly. and then, blind it, tomorrow, we're just on the cold side. not just cold, but windy and cold. windchills tomorrow may not get above freezing. so it's going to be a much different day. and that sets the stage for whapgs on thursday. we have another system that moves in thursday thiegt. thursday afternoon, we see the clouds coming into cold day and then here comes our next stornl system. look at the snow developing around 11:00 on thursday night with rain to the south. fry
