here's traffic. looks pretty good for you so far. if you're traveling on the beltway, south of river road, things are moving along quite well going around the curve there, you can see the inner and outer loop moving toward the american legion bridge no problems so far this morning. we still have some construction on southbound 95 this maryland, the ramp to the outer loop, that work zone causing some very minor delays. not even worth thinking about having a detour for you this morning. and then if you're traveling there virginia or to maryland across the woodrow wilson bridge, everything moving quite well, the taillights are headed this to maryland toward national harbor and of course headlights headed to virginia. no delays here yet. i think i was born to be married. i was the happiest girl in the world when i became we. >> so nancy, let me say thank you for all you do. thank you for your love. and thank you for just being you. >> nice moment there. this morning we're remembering the life and legacy

reagan. she died yesterday at the achblg age of 94. one of the most remarkable things was her unbreakable bond with her husband. it's hard to overstate just how much she influenced ronald reagan and his presidency. she also helped pave the way for future first ladies to take a more central roles timer's and e two of the main causes she championed. she passed away from heart failure at her home in los angeles. mrs. reagan will be laid to rest next to her husband at the ronald reagan presidential library in california. full details on the funeral have not been released yet, but the about public will be allowed to pay its respect before her final burial. this morning president obama and the first lady are remembering the invaluable advice nancy reagan gave them upon arriving at 1600 pennsylvania avenue. the obamas said mrs. reagan once said nothing could prepare you for living in the white house. but we had a head start because we were fortunate

under way after a sunday afternoon came to a halt when there was a shooting at a bus stop in southeast. this happened a naylor road near alabama avenue. megan mcgrath is live this morning with reaction from the community there. >> reporter: good morning. this happened in the middle of the day. broad daylight. you can see behind me here the bus stop where it happened. the shattered glass, the police tape is still up. now, shots rang out right around 1:30 in the afternoon. two people, a man and a woman, were hit by bullets in that hail of gun tire. the amc commissioner for the area, paul transom, we spoke to him yesterday and he says that this type of brazen daytime shooting is just outrageous and unacceptable. >> we're going to have someone to have the audacity to come out in broad daylight and

prosecutors say williams drove the getaway car and washington was the lookout. the man who shot chavez is serving life in prison. one man dead and several others hurt after a violent cry supreme in new york over the weekend. james dillon went on a crime spree starting around 11:30 in the morning when he slashed the neck and face of a woman who lived next door to him. less than four hours later, till lon stabbed the owner of a liquor store and then set him on fire. he sprayed another man with fire accelerant before police were able to catch up with him and then dylan sprayed the officers before he was shot seven times. he's now in the hospital under psychiatric treatment. it's 5:19. right now a parade of pacific storms continue to drench california with some much needed rain. this week the higher elevations will also see significant amounts of snow pileup. over the weekend, the rain caused flooding up and
