of her two children has tried to escape the hospital eight times in the last year and a half. david felsen is her attorney. >> she states the reason she wants to get out is see her children and done everything to protect and love her children. >> reporter: the report said she grabbed starffer security badge and at one point made it through a level of security but never made it off the grounds. her children disappeared in 2014. hoggle is the last person known to be with them. she said she left them with a friend but not seen since. affidavits sworn out by family members in december suggests hoggle is faking her illness to avoid prosecution. they believe she's hoping to stay in the mental health facility and at some point be released. >> she has received extremely strong psychotropeic medication. they monitor her

conducted an extensive search and couldn't find anything. it happened close to where a man was found dead last week. officers found him next to a broken window outside his home. they have not made any arrests in that case. one week ago tonight a man came up to an unsuspected prince george's county police station and opened fire with the intent to die in a shootout with police. detective jacai collison was mistaken for a suspect and shot and killed by one of this is officers. a moment of silence at 4:30 this afternoon, when those shots were first heard outside the police station next to headquarters. officer collison's grandmother was there tonight. >> he's in a better place and he's at peace with all of you. yes, he's fine. three brothers are facing charges in that attack. i want to move to politics

time to get them out of there. while one boy had serious injuries they're both expected to be okay. a hero's tribute to fallen officer three weeks ago. she died on her first day on the job. the helicopter that carried her to the hospital to take part in a shift change ceremony honoring her memory and sacrifice. fellow officers and supporters are holding a fund-raiser and want to help her and the two other officers shot that day. the community is rallying around them. >> reporter: this sunday at the blu restaurant in woodbridge was special in a lot of ways. it wasn't just a helicopter flyover in landing or beauty queen at the door or band, why they all came together, the second fund-raiser for these
