problems. i'm kristen wright at the live desk. breaking news first, some sort of situation involving police, a standoff in northern virginia, we have video in from overnight to show you. it happened in springfield. a lot of police activity. police serving a warrant apparently when a vehicle came toward an officer and hit one of their cruisers. this information coming from twitter from the fairfax county police department. police say they found two people in a car that had been shot. so a lot of questions to be answered. meagan fitzgerald is on her way there and we'll have more coming up. and another breaking story this time in prince george's county. police found a man dead near the intersection of iverson street and 28th avenue last night. this is off of branch avenue in hillcrest heights. officers tell us that shall be shot the victim. they're asking for tips and offering a reward for help solving this case. now to the latest

terror attacks in brussels. right now counterterrorism agents are in the middle of a manhunt for at least one more suspect in the attacks that killed at least 31 people and hurt hundreds on tuesday. evidence is building that these attacks are connected to the terrorist bombings in paris last fall. intelligence officials say one of the suicide bombers this this week made the bombs that were used in paris' november attack. and turkey flagged one of the tuesday attackers ibrahim el bakraoui at rests months ago. belgium officials found he had an extensive criminal history, but did not have any ties to can extremism. belgium officials facing criticism after el bakraoui was identified. according to the associated press, isis has september at least 400 militants to europe with orders to find right time,
