girlfriend three weeks ago. a woman had to be rescued after she was pinned beneath a metrobus in arlington. according to the "washington post," it happened just before 10:30 near the intersection of 15 and eabs streets. the woman is expected to be okay but the accident remains under investigation. i'm kristen wright at the live desk where we start with a small town under evacuation orders after a train derailment. a propane truck collided with the freight train in callaway, minnesota yesterday. propane burning and burning. about seven empty train cars jumped the track, two crew members were hurt, not the seriously. right now firefighters are letting the propane tapping burn out and everybody should be able to get back home this afternoon. we are watching the winds this morning after two brush fires ripped through parts of our area yesterday. one fire came so close to a

be rescued. the other caused some pretty significant damage. for you, this was the scene in boyds, maryland yesterday. chopper 4 over a brush fire at the black hills regional park. this is pretty close to little acce seneca lake. there was a red flag warning yesterday. the windy conditions helped fuel another fire in germantown. a couple had to be rescued as the flames got closer and closer to their homes sweeping through five acres. the next door nape who also happens to be a sheriff deputy sprang into action to get them out. he even sounded his siren to make sure the couple realized this was an emergency. firefighters worked through the afternoon to battle the blaze and put out hot spots, too. the couple says they're thankful for their neighbor and the fire crews. 4:31. time for your weather and

i would. i would. i would like to take his life. >> turner had worked as a janitor at the building for 15 years. there is no word on a suspect or a motive. an nfl linebacker could get some jail time for punching a d.c. pizza delivery driver in the face. colts player d'qwell jackson is expected to be sentenced this morning. he was found guilty of assaulting the driver after fighting over a parking space in northwest d.c. last year. jackson faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine. the colts haven't taken any action, but the nfl may suspend him. now to the race for the white house. the democratic presidential contenders have another round of caucuses this weekend. hawaii, alaska, washington state will all decide which candidates will get their delegates. coming up, tracie potts will join you go with how these votes could swing the chances for hillary clinton and what senator bernie sanders will have to do to catcup

maryland's governor larry hogan now sharing some strong feelings on the race for president. the republican says he is not a fan of donald trump and doesn't think he should be the party's nominee for president. about the race in general, hogan says i don't like the dialogue, and i'm sick of talking about it. hogan says he doesn't know who he'll vote for, but he doesn't think either party is putting up its best candidates. a hard breaker if you are a maryland fan. the team was in the sweet 16 for the first time in more than a decade, but now they're coming home. carol maloney talked to the players out in louisville. >> reporter: not so good morning from louisville, kentucky. site of the sweet 16 stage for maryland, their dance partner kansas had more moves leaving the terrapins crushed. >> first thought was shock. the next thought was, you know, my guys, my brothers, how they're feeling. this is not only my last game this year, this is our last gym as a

this is pretty bizarre to see in the middle of a highway. this happened during a car chase in arizona. the suspect got out of what police say was a stolen pickup truck and he apparently tried to steal another man's motorcycle. that guy wasn't having it, so he got into a fight for a few seconds afrpd then the suspect got back into the truck, drove off, hit the mote orcycle on th way. he crashed the truck later on. he was ejected from the truck and they haven't said what condition the guy is in now. >> wow. after years of car crashes along two alexandria streets, the speed limits are changing. starting today, sections of seminary road and quaker lane will now have speed limits of 25 miles an hour. a city study showed that many drivers were traveling at more than 45 miles per hour down the very streets. over five years, there have been more than 60 car

among all female voters. trump tweeted a picture comparing the appearance of his wife to cruz's wife. >> donald didn't like strong women. strong women scare donald. >> trump's campaign manager fired back, comments like those are just cruz's way of trying to stay relevant in the race. trump also defended himself on the campaign trail where his supporters are seemingly unfazed. a high speed chase, an officer hit, and two crashes. those were the events described in a virginia courtroom yesterday. wilson overton is charged with assaulting a police officer and u.s. park police officer triggering a high speed chase on the george washington parkway earlier this month. police pulled him over and he refused to get out of his car and struck an officer as he took off. he crashed that car and then stole and crashed a police cruiser and took off again. he later handed himself over to police. he's being held without bond until his next

this spring. we don't yet know why a driver hit a road construction worker in manassas killing him. prince william county police say that worker was waving a flag in the 6600 block of davis ford road just before 12:30 yesterday. they say a car hit him and he died on the scene. the driver stayed until police arrived, but we didn't know if that person was charged. the worker's identity has not yet been released. and another work site, rescue crews had to take a man to a hospital after he fell into a 100-foot water to you they are gainesville. it took prince william county fire and rescue crews hours to pull him out using a safety harness. there was no water inside the water tower. the worker's condition is not known this morning. fwloo in metro news this morning, the system inspector general is being asked to investigate if critical repairs are actually happening. the concerns were raised for metro board members who say they are not getting answers about progress. this follows last week's smoke and fire incident in mcpherson
