how else is it this country has become such a hotbed of violent radical jihadi terrorists? >> i think there are a couple of things. number one, the large population that has not been well integrated into mainstream society. they live in insular communities. they identify with isis and not belgium. they have the services that was not acknowledging there was a problem in its too late. now it is playing catch up with how many of these people are out there plotting to do bad things. >> let's talk about the situation in the united states. here in new york city, i was with my 6-year-old. at times square, you have men out with rifles. how concerned should we be? >> be concerned, but not overly concerned. we have to live our lives. the situation in the u.s. is different than europe. we have less of these people who traveled. we have been at this for a while. it's not perfect.
