confirmed a boy was shot and killed. we have not been able to confirm an age at this point. we do believe this person was a teenager. he was transported here from northeast washington this afternoon and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. now, police got the call around 4:15 this afternoon to come here to the deanwood station. we understand this young person was shot right on the platform here outside of the train station. on the outside area, right where the trains pull in and pull out. it's a public area. we understand he was shot at least one time and again transported from the scene. we do not know what exactly sparked this shooting of a womg i spoke to a short time ago, tells me, his mother was apparently here and was screaming, obviously crying and very distraught about this, before he was taken to the hospital. police are telling u
