virginia power has reported a power outage. 23,000 customers did not have power. we're still working to figure out what caused this outage. today, patients are hope to see their doctors. several treatments were cancelled because the hospital is still recovering from a computer problem that was discovered on monday. medstar says it doesn't appear any personal information was stolen. private ambulance news that hit the streets were supposed to speed up and we're learning they may actually be slowing them down. news4 mark segraves shows one of the biggest issues of computers used by d.c. firefighters are not talking to computers used by amr. firefighters have to record a patient's vital signs on

amr is not used for life-threatening calls. they had to wait 28 minutes even though a nearby ambulance was nearby. an elevator got stuck about 280 feet, roughly 28 stories up yesterday afternoon. 19 people were in the elevator at the time but they were able to get out. 23 people were on the observation deck and had walked down nearly the 900 steps. this is the ninth time in less than a year that elevator issue caused the monument to close. in the day ahead there will be a vigil for the 15-year-old boy killed at the metro station. that vigil for devonte washington continues at that station. deenwood appeared in court accused of killing him. court documents
