restaurant in fort washington. police say there was some kind of fight. molette green is outside the restaurant and can tell us more about what's going on. good morning. >> reporter: barbara, good morning. moments ago i got off the phone with prince georges police who said they have made an arrest in this case. they have been working throughout the morning on this. we expect to get details shortly about the suspect and motive from police as they work to put together a press release. we can tell you that a fight turned very violent landed three men in the hospital early this morning. we spoke to several people who know the owner of this restaurant nightclub, martini's. they have partied here over the years. they tell me this kind of violence is out of the ordinary. most of the nights it's packed. it's a very popular hangout in fort washington. hours ago, prince georges county police arrived about

stab wounds to the upper body, and one of them a security guard. now, i spoke to a business owner on this same street who also frequents this club. >> from what they tell me, it was something that started from an argument, which is usually the case, and then it led to outside, and then from that point on, who knows. one thing we can say for sure, the actual knife or whatever weapon was used, it wasn't in the club because the actual stabbing or whatever didn't happen inside the club. >> reporter: so again, the three men stabbed here early this morning are expected to survive their injuries. the owner is well known in this community, in fact, lives about 10 minutes away. we went to his house, rang the door be doorbell, but nobody answered. again, princeç georges county police have made an arrest in this case. look for updates later today on news4 and inside our

washington app. we're live on news4 midday. the amtrak schedule has returned to normal after the deadly crash right outside philadelphia. right now camera footage are headed to d.c. ntsb investigators will use th to see what led to that crash. overnight crews towed the train from the crash site to nearby delaware county. two amtrak workers were killed when train 89 hit a backhoe on its way to savannah, georgia from new york city yesterday. today medical examiners will conduct autopsies on those two employees. 35 passengers on the train were hurt, though none seriously. more on how this compares to last year's derailment coming up at 11:35. here's a look at what folks woke up to in hartford, connecticut. that's on top of several inches that was already on the groun

look at that. terrifying moments in canada as a car plunges down a cliff above the atlantic ocean. police say the driver either jumped or was thrown from the car just before it went over the side, nosedived over the edge. this happened in newfoundland. the 25-year-old driver was rescued from the face of the cliff. she is expected to be okay. crews rapelled down and were able to lift the car 2500 feet back on the cliff. chariot for women, it's called, was started by a former uber driver. the massachusetts-based company only hires women drivers. the goal is to give female passengers peace of mind by ensuring another woman is always behind the wheel. the
