and at 19 he weighed 500 pounds. he clearly had a very dysfunctional relationship with food which hit him physically and emotionally. at the same time he's an uber tal en, super funny and super smart. he submitted a voice tape to a radio station when he was a young adult to get a spot. sight unseen they actually hired him. he got in the car, he relocated his family. when he got there in his 500 pound body, they rescinded the offer. he was devastated. but i have to say at the same time this was his motivation to change his ways. so he gave himself a calorie budget. he stuck with it. he just put in whatever he wanted and the weight literally fell off. he lost 275 pounds. he then hit a roadblock. i think a lot of people can relate to this. he actually gained back about 100. he was on ais

time for our favorite things. on friday my son cody, who is studying to get his master's in film, all that stuff. he said, mom, you've got to go this weekend to see this movie. i never do. so i said, okay, what is it? he said, mom, it's a perfect film. so for him to say that, this movie is called "eye in the sky" with helen mirren. it is like a perfect movie. the story is so compelling. the acting is incredible. i couldn't move for about five minutes after the movie ended. i just sat there and watched
