good news, we are stuck in the upper 50s to lower 60s today, tomorrow and friday. by early next week, temperatures will be back in the 70s. your seven-day forecast is at 4:51. chuck, thank you. 4:33, a car ran into a home in prince william county separating a gas line. this happened in manassas. prince william county fire rescue said the car drove into the backside of the house. the utility crew rushed to the scene to turn off the gas before anybody was hurt. red cross is helping the homeowner find a place to stay. 4:33. two shootings in a matter of hours are fraying nerves in the petworth neighborhood. someone fired more than a dozen shots on eighth street northwest. below you can see another shooting scene happened a mile away. this time the gunshots were deadly. d.c. police say a man died after someone shot him. they brought in canines to the scene and eventually towed away a white ford mustang around

massive search. tom begay, the 27-year-old suspected of kidnapping her from a bus stop after school, has been arrested. police have not said how the little girl died. and a police officer is off the job facing child abuse charges. francesco marlett spanked his girlfriend's child. the force of the spanking caused him to run into a wall hitting his head. and takata may have to recall 35 million more air bag inflaters on top of the 29 million already recalled. those inflaters can explode with too much force and spray metal shards. at least 11 people have died worldwide and more than 100 have been hurt. back to decision

take a look at the left side of your screen right now. this is disturbing video from prince george's county. this man is peering into people's home in the adelphi area. this is home surveillance off 26th avenue. officers say he walked around the back deck before looking inside and eventually performing a sex act on the property. a d.c. man will spend the next two decades behind bars for a murder at a metro parking garage. douglas chase pleads guilty to killing eric megar last july. the two argued before the shooting. the judge sentenced chase to 25 years with five years suspended. we now know the name of the man found in the creek in fairfax county. the man is 30-year-old edward hamilton of springfield. his body was found in the water near shell

detectives do not suspect foul play. we have breaking news about the service member killed in iraq. now we know his name, charles keating iv was killed by isis fighters yesterday. his high school coach said keating was moved after the september 11th attacks. >> the boys on that team, charlie included, were so impacted by that. they wanted to serve their country after that. >> keating is from phoenix. the governor of arizona ordered flags to fly at half-staff in the state today. deputies in loudoun county want you to protect your cars. they are looking into a series of rim and tire thefts in the a ashburn and broadland areas. suvs and minivans with customized rims are a target this year. so far there have been 11 reported thefts.
