shootings began at high point high school this beltsville where police say tordil shot his estranged wife gladys. on friday they believe a carjacking was the motive for the other two shootings. the first stop was montgomery mall, where malcolm winffel was killed. he and a trend were trying to help another woman after she called out for help. according to court documents, tordil asked if that was her car and that he'd shoot her. he did shoot all three. winffel died. just minutes later, claudina molina was shot to death inside her car at the aspen hill giant parking lot. p. >> i heard the gunshots, but i walked across the street first and heard the gunshots. i saw somebody fall. and then i was afraid to come over here because i thought somebody was still shooting. >> tordil was taken down at a shopping center just miles away from the last shooting scene. his car towed and he told police there is no one in the trunk, just a golf bag. and coming up, kristin
