parkway at sudley manor, northbound lanes will blocked. southbound is okay. taking a look at 66 and 95, no big problems there. we'll take a big look at the beltway coming up. more shocking details are out this morning in friday's deadly shopping center shooting. the victims were doing normal things many of us do, picking up the kids from school, going to the grocery store, grabbing lunch. now the suspect eulalio tordil is headed to court facing several charges including first-degree murder. tordil is in jail this morning and headed to rockville district court this this afternoon. three people were killed and three were injured in the woutw day shooting free. tordil was a federal security officer on administrative leave because of several protective orders. his guns for work within confiscated, but police say he bought more guns to carry out the shootings. tordil was taken down in the north gate shopping somewhere parking lot after police watched him come out of the late

shootings began at high point high school this beltsville where police say tordil shot his estranged wife gladys. on friday they believe a carjacking was the motive for the other two shootings. the first stop was montgomery mall, where malcolm winffel was killed. he and a trend were trying to help another woman after she called out for help. according to court documents, tordil asked if that was her car and that he'd shoot her. he did shoot all three. winffel died. just minutes later, claudina molina was shot to death inside her car at the aspen hill giant parking lot. p. >> i heard the gunshots, but i walked across the street first and heard the gunshots. i saw somebody fall. and then i was afraid to come over here because i thought somebody was still shooting. >> tordil was taken down at a shopping center just miles away from the last shooting scene. his car towed and he told police there is no one in the trunk, just a golf bag. and coming up, kristin

will join us where moith more o victims 37. two drivers will be sentenced today for a high speed crash before salvadore and his daughter were killed in 2013 in the crash. montgomery county investigators believe the two drivers were racing down georgia avenue when both crashed into the victim's car. the two drivers face vehicular manslaughter charges. right now there is no gas and no drinkable water, but people are no longer fleeing their homes. this is in alberta canada where the raging wildfire is actually starting to show signs of slowing thanks to rainy and cool weather. we just heard from a firefighter who was one of many who lost their homes. >> i don't consider myself a hero. but i've met more heros in this experience than i've

homicide. bryant started his college career at notre dame and was the biggest name in uab's first recruiting class since the school restarted its football program. the landing wasn't pretty, but it may have saved this pilot the's life. a small plane crashed down on a roof near a los angeles area freeway yesterday. look at the scene there. the 61-year-old pilot says his plane lost power mid flight. he was air lifted to the hospital and is expected to be okay. travelers are safely back on u.s. soil after an historic cruise cuba. it docked in miami on sunday. the voyage marks the first time ap-american cruise company has made the trip in decades. american cruises cuba became possible after a recent agreement between the two countries to restore diplomatic ties. starting today, students at forestville high school can apply to transfer to a new prince george's county school. the district is closing

investigators are looking into a new problem this morning. >> reporter: good morning. yeah, we just heard from metro about this morning's fire. the train that you see there on the track that is stopped is a test train. it was used over the weekend for track work and about 4:00 a.m. this morning, it became disabled and a small fire occurred. we've learned that workers put out the fire using fire extinguish extinguisher. metro workers using flashlights throughout the morning have been going over and poring over this disabled train here. they need to be able to move it and run a test so that they can stop the ripple effect of what is happening. . the single tracking that melissa has been following on the or d orange and blue lines. other metro trains are getting by on the other tracks. you might hear a train coming in and through right now. now, over the weekend, paul wiedefeld appeared on
