so don't have any big worries. 270 and montrose northbound and southbound is rolling along just fine. and so is 95 here in maryland from 32 down to the beltway, that will take you 11 minutes exactly as it should. eun? thank you, melissa. 4:33 right now, developing this morning massachusetts police are trying to figure out why a man went on a deadly stabbing spree. police say the suspect, 28-year-old arthur jerosa, stabbed four people at two separate scenes yesterday in brussels county. and he drove his car through the macy's of a nearby mall. an 80-year-old woman and 56-year-old man died. jerosa was shot and killed by an off-duty sheriff's deputy. memorial services begin for the man who die in a shooting spree.

authorities shot and kill ed th man. gladys tordil was the first victim in the shooting. her estranged husband eulalio tordil shot her in prince george's county. her family wants her body to be returned to the philippines. their two daughters are in foster care right now. to decision 2016 right now where bernie sanders and donald trump are the big winners from last night's primaries. sanders pulled off an upset over hillary clinton in west virginia but he's still far behind the former secretary of state in delegates needed to win the democratic nomination. trump won in nebraska and west virginia with the republican field all to himself. election officials in west virginia are counting ballots late into the night while both sanders and trump came out on

welcome back at 4:46. donald trump and bernie sanders both came out on top in last night's primaries. sanders took the win in west virginia and he's trying to slow down hillary clinton's path to the democratic nomination. while trump with the field all to himself also won in west virginia and nebraska. nbc's edward lawrence is live on capitol hill now. edward, good morning. is this good news for hillary clinton right now in any way? >> reporter: good morning, eun. it's a tough position for hillary clinton in the moment. now you have both donald trump and senator bernie sanders after the same woman. they are all attacking hillary clinton. now, she cannot ignore the number of votes that senator bernie sanders is getting. he ran away with the election in west virginia. 77% of the vote there. now hillary clinton was not expected to do well because of her comments, saying she would put a lot ofin

prime restaurant. andres withdrew after donald trump's comments on immigrants. the hotel is expected to open in the fall. prince william county police are now thanking neighbors for helping a woman during a domestic violence attack. officers were called to chaste tree place monday night. they found a woman trapped and bleeding on a second-story deck. the armed suspect who was inside the townhome was the woman's wife. >> the neighbor allowed us to use their residence to go onto their deck to make contact with the victim to make sure she was okay. >> the armed suspect turned the gun on herself but she's expected to be okay. three maryland brothers are facing attempted murder charges for the death of a police detective. a grand jury

indictments for elijah and michael ford. michael ford opened fire outside the station and his brothers recorded the shooting on their cell phone. the detective died after a fellow officer mistook him for a suspect in the shoot-out. this man is waking up in jail this morning, he was arrested for attacking an elderly couple and then robbing them three months ago. montgomery county police say demarious and another person forced their way inside and beat a 77-year-old man. 4:49 now to a consumer watch about counterfeit checks. somebody got hold of a maryland woman's checking account number and started writing fake checks. that's when she turned to nbc4 responds for help. susan hogan has her story. >> reporter: imagine her surprise, she gets a copy of her checks back f

homeless in our region. the metropolitan council is said to release the homeless count. arlington county saw the biggest drop in homelessness. the district's population dropped by 6%. and prince george's county dropped as well but frederick and montgomery saw big increases. a happy reunion for a girl who had her tuition money stolen. this video is a woman picking up a purse and leaving the dunkin donuts in falls church. that purse belongs to maria esteves which had $10,000 in it. they were on their way to her school to pay off her tuition. >> i cannot imagine the panic that set in at that moment. $10,000 to pay

camping chair. investigators believe she may be in an isolated area such as a campground. our nbc affiliate in richmond reported last week they may be in the virginia area. police in montgomery county are ramping up efforts to find the man who sexually assaulted a teenager girl. the attack happened last wednesday in the bridge cheney area of silver spring not far from route 29. the girl said the man followed her from her school bus into her apartment building. then he tried to take her phone. he took off his pants and then tried to remove her's. now police need your help finding that man. the girl's brother heard her screaming in the stairwell and scared the man off. homeowners feeling the burn. the i-team investigates local cases from viewers who have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. and on top of losing their homes and pressure memories to fires, one viewer in prince george's county told us she gave one contractor nearly $300,000 of
