school today. >> reporter: good morning. grief counselors will be here when school starts later today after the death of the freshman yesterday. it was about 2:30 in the afternoon when a freshman student santos escobar-villatoro was riding his bike away from the school along route 355 not far from here when he hit a sign, a commercial sign that had been placed in the sidewalk and he fell in the street and was head by a suv. the driver stayed on the scene. escobar was pronounced dead on the scene. he probably had just left the school which is why the impact will be felt so acutely here. the investigation into that accident continues and grief counselors as we said will be here at gaithersburg high school once they do open the school. and this has affected every. listen to what some of the parents and folks had to say yesterday about this
