is their best shot at finding a person of interest in a quadruple shooting. it happened right outside of big ben liquor store in northwest. megan mcgrath is live at the scene where police are asking the public for help. >> reporter: police is been outside big ben liquor since early this morning before the sun came up, they're handing out flyers. you can see an officer talking to someone who lives in the air. the fryer lyer is announcing an emergency community meeting tonight at 7:00. it is open to the general public. and a couple things will happen. first of all, police will give an update on their investigation if to the shooting. and then they are asking for help in identifying the person believed to have pulled the trigger. now,

team of firefighters tied battling a blaze. back to you. washington national cathedral will hold meetings about how to handle stained glass windows. they pay homage to confederate generals robert e. lee and thomas stonewall jackson. the task force says it will not live in the cathedral the same way it has in the past. first meeting is sunday, july 17. today the iteam has learned a subcommittee plans to release a new bill that would increase tsa funding by $163 million next year. last month a senate committee unanimously approved a bill boosting tsa funding by more than $200 million. some of the money will be used to hire additional officers for airport checkpoints.

prosecutors say he was speeding and driving drunk when he lost control of his car after a house party back inin june of 2015. two classmates were killed in the crash. today students at clarksburg high school will return to classes with heavy hearts. three classmates died in a bad crash tuesday night. parents say they were coming home from a pre-graduation party. alcohol does not appear to be a factor. they say the driver 17-year-old jacob dennis was going too fast down the country road. is pickup truck left the road and slammed into a tree. dennis and patrick and kerry all died. >> all good kids. brand new driver. make a mistake. have tragic consequences. and it's a recipe for disaster. >> police say jacob dennis had just received his provisional driver's license in march. all three were juniors at
