the democratic party to unify yesterday. it was a big day for hillary. how big was the endorsement from the president and elizabeth warren? >> hillary clinton has had her best ten-day stretch since she launched her campaign. trump has had his worst. the leaders coalescing around clinton creates a head of steam for her. on the ground, the reality is she tries to convert voters that don't care about the democratic establishment. she will have a head of steam going into the weekend. she has a democratic tour deforce around her right now. but whether it converts bernie supporters, which is the tactical thing that needs to occur, is still unknown. >> we heard peter say, officials are delighted with elizabeth warren. she can take it to donald trump. you have your ear to the ground, do you think she's a potential v.p. candidate for clinton? >> i think it depends on your

she will be among the wide net of people that get vetted. if you know hillary clinton and people that are close to her, she is getting to know many of the people that are on the v.p. short list. and she's getting to know them throughout the campaign. one person she doesn't know very well, elizabeth warren. there's a chance they could get together and know each other, she has campaigned with tim perez, and knows people like mike mullen. she's going to pick somebody she has known for a long time. >> let me bring up a newspaper article. front page of "the wall street journal." this morning, clinton wakes up to another article about her e-mail. that officials in pakistan sent cia officials. they did so on an unclassified system. it got forwarded to hillary clinton. a lot of information there. what's the bottom line? >> the republican freakout exists on two

well. it was a white enclave. this bubble, next black los angeles. and right there is where he became inculturated. and his desire of fame since he was a kid, that thrust him into the arms of white america. >> gill, you mentioned that one of the reasons you wanted to be involved in this particular documentary is because it does set the case in the context of l.a. >> not just about l.a. an entire nation in terms of the race relations. as district attorney, my job was to consist the prosecutors. do we have enough evidence to prove the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? it was much deeper. i don't know if anyone told you about the story about me reaching out to president carter. part of my job was to be prepared for every eventuality.
