in new york city, governor cuomo attended a memorial vigil at the stonewall inn. in philadelphia, members of the lgbtq community lit candles an prayed outside city hall there. and in los angeles, members of the l.a. gay men's chorus sang and lady gaga also made an appearance. president obama will visit orlando on thursday to pay his respects to the families of the victims. meanwhile fbi director james compaey and jeh johnson will brf members on the attack today. the briefing was requested by house speaker paul ryan. big fire happening in baltimore, 14 homes impacted here. a reporter from our station there is tweeting that the fire started in st three row homes and then just spread down the entire block. you're looking at firefighters trying t

service. wssc has not said when it expects the water main to be fixed. i'm kristin wright back with new information in the killing of two police officers in france. the suspect we learned has terror ties and also we're just learning that he apparently shot video of the attack on facebook live. in the attack he stabbed two police officers to death, they were a couple, this happened near paris. in this facebook live video, he questioned about what to do about their 3-year-old son. this man identified from france in his 20s, convicted in 2013 on terror related charges. he was killed in a police raid. it's now 6:14. and we will turn back to the attacks in orlando. this is a live look outside of the pulse where the area around the club is still blocked off. as

mourn the people killed. and we're learning more about omar mateen. the fbi is investigating whether he visited the pulse night club before the attack. agents are the looking into claims that he tried to communicate with some of the patrons on the dating app grinder. at this point they don't know what to make of them. the victims of this attack were full of life, enjoying a night out dancing before the tragedy unfolded. all 49 victims have been identified. one of them was 37-year-old kimberly morris, she was a bouncer at the club. her ex-girlfriend describes their last conversation. >> i was able to speak to her that night while she was at work. it was away i guess 12:30 a.m. there in orlando. and i sent her a text message that i miss you and she wrote

[ bells tolling ] back here at home, a special tribute it to the victims of the orlando attack. the bells at the national cathedral rang 49 times, one time for each victim. and in sterling, there was an interfaith prayer service and vigil. religious leaders from all different states condemned the violence and prayed for hope and healing. after the prayer service, participants took their candles outside and lined the streets to show unity. today nats will celebrate the lgbt community at nats night out, the team is taking on the chicago cubs tonight at 7:05. ticket is $25 and include as pregame vip reception and chance to go on the field. part of the proceeds will go to the team's d.c. student

one person dead and another in custody in connection with a major fire. you're looking at a two story office building burning in los angeles last night. it was supposed to be vacant, but first responders found a handful of people inside, including someone they're calling a person of interest. it took about 150 firefighters to put out the fire. three people were hurt. incredible footage of a tornado that touched down in texas caught by a driver who pulled over to the side of the road. this

they just brought in a big tent. so work is getting under way. they're trying to learn more about the gunman. they have started an extensive recreation of the crime scene in order to get a better idea of exactly what did happen. as they're learning when omar mateen, they found out from reports that he had apparently sent messages on and online dating website and he also frequented the bar that he attacked several times witnesses had reported seeing him. the weapons he purchased legally about a week ago in ft. pierce, he was on a federal watch list for a time while under investigation for making comments about terror connections. if he would have tried to buy guns then, fbi agents would have been noticed, but the case had been closed so they did not have to be notified. again president obama expected on thursday to offer his condols
