gw parkway. you can see the glow of police lights behind me. we checked twitter a short time ago, police expect it to be shut down until at least 2:00 in the morning. investigators are trying to figure out how the bus rolled over killing at least one person. as emergency crews responded the wrecked shuttle bus sat upright but park police say after it collided with a car -- >> it landed on its side and slid for a distance. >> reporter: trapping 18 passengers. how did it end up back on its tires. that's what is remarkable. >> there were 15, 20, an unknown amount of people that stopped to upright the bus, a noble act by these passerbyes and they helped the wounded on the bus. >> police believe some good samaritan were members of the military, likely from ft. belvoir. the bus was headed from mount vernon the car going the other
