details on a road rage incident that may have been sparked by hate. police identified the suspect. the first impression of metro's phase two. we begin with a firy scene at an apartment complex in laurel. the fire left a lot of people without a place to stay tonight. darcy spencer is live on bri arwood drive to tell us what's happening now. darcy? >> reporter: i can tell you, this has had a major impact on travel. one of the roads was blocked for hours. it just reopened within the last couple minutes. take a look down the street. 197. you can see the ladder truck and all the fire equipment that is still there on the scene working this fire. we got late word from prince george's fire department that one firefighter was injured

what i understand, the firefighter fell off a ladder here on the scene, was taken to the hospital and expected to be a kay. you are seeing video of what it looked like when firefighters arrived here this evening. very intense flames. this broke out at 8:30 on briarwood drive. it spread quickly and went to two alarms to get additional firefighters out here to put it out. it is now out. a lot of people have been displaced. nine units damaged inside the complex. once the residents have been displaced, red cross is on the scene. at this point, prince george's fire says the cause of the blaze remains under investigation. we are live tonight in laurel, darcy spencer, news 4. >> thank you, darcy. new details tonight on a horrifying case of road rage. police are pursuing charges

police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man early this morning. it happened just after 2:00 on southern avenue on oxon hill. the man died at the hospital. police did not release the motive or suspect information. new at 11:00, police are collecting evidence from a pennsylvania home where 12 girls were found living with an accused rapist. lee kaplan is the father of her two daughters. police are
