back to you. >> darcy, thank you. and fairfax police and firefighters got together to show their support for the victims in orlando. dozens gathered outside jeb stuart high school for a group photo. some waved rainbow flags and held a large american flag. the photo was taken notice air by the fairfax one helicopter. new at 11:00, a 19-year-old man tried to steal a police officer's gun to kill gop presidential nominee donald trump. that's according to a federal complaint filed today. that incident happened on saturday during a rally in las vegas. michael sanford faces one count of attempting to commit an act of physical violence on restricted grounds. the complaint said sanford noticed the gun was in an unlocked position and grabbed the officer's hollister and the gun's handle with both hands. he's fired. donald trump let go of corey lewandowski. paul manafort will take over.

per hour. temperatures on the warm side for sure. look at hagerstown and quantico, still at 80 degrees. 77 dulles, and manassas at 73. we're not going to see any showers over the next few hours, but by 8:00 tomorrow morning we might see a couple. and this is the reason why. back to the west we have a cold front back here that's bringing in strong thunderstorms to parts of areas south of chicago, over towards buffalo. this front is going to move down. we could see a few storms early tomorrow. and there is a slight risk from cincinnati to south of chicago. tomorrow watch how the risk expands and moves into our regi region. from d.c., southern maryland, that's the place we could see strong storms. strong to severe storms possible tomorrow. biggest threat is strong winds, but the potential for hail. most likely after 1:00 p.m. for the strongest
