over injuring or killing small children. tom costello has been following this story for more than a year and he is at a ikea store in college park, madiba. >> reporter: the consumer product commission says every two weeks in the country a child dies under falling tvs and furniture and ikea stopped selling a unit that is prone to that, and is asking the parents if you have one of these you should stop using those unless they are anchored to the wall. the numbers are heartbreaking. every 24 minutes a child is injured from falling furniture or tvs, and every two weeks a child dies. this video from the consumer product safety commission shows how fast it can happen and now one of the biggest retailers announcing a major recall. most of the furniture

and toddlers? >> i think there have always been patients who love their pediatrician because they grew up with them and wanted to stay, and i wanted to see my pediatrician when i came in from medical school. >> it comes down to a doctor you trust with or without the lollypop. >> something else that could be driving the trend under the affordable care act people can stay under their parents' insurance plans until the age of 26, and many are just simply to stick with the doctor they know and who know them bests. >> and the doctor here is a contributor, and good to see you. is there any real medical reason why you need to leave your pediatrician at the age of 21? >> that's a good question. that's really the million dollar question. i think the position of the three medical groups that are sort of coming together to give us a little bit of a recommendation on this is really thou

people are getting what we would think of as medically and develop mentally appropriate care in their life. so at 21 you start cervical cancer screening for women, and -- >> are they trained for that, for patient care past the age of 21? >> pediatricians are trained to take care of people, including obesity and all the stuff you normally would think of as, you know, applying to adults until the age of 21, but as natalie pointed out with the affordable care act, people are extending their care for pediatricians. >> so a good transition age is between 18 and 21. let's talk about other good reasons to change over. >> yeah, if you are moving. maybe you are not coming home for breaks all the time and maybe your insurance is changing. that's another reason you might
