airport. at least 42 people are dead. more than 230 among the wounded. there was no confirmation but both turkish and american officials say the attack has the markings of isis. despite the destruction there are signs of resilience in istanbul. the airport re-opened just hours after that attack. crews have been cleaning up debris all day. president obama addressing the attack at a summit in canada saying the u.s. has offered condolences and stands by to assist turkey. >> this is part of the broader, shared fight against terrorist networks. we will continue to work closely with turkey to root them out. we can and we will defeat those who offer only death and destruction. we will always remember even as there are those trying to divide us, that we are stronger when we come back together and work toward a better world

you know, him wanting my son to join his choir and my son wanted to. >> reporter: one of the 23 children listed in the indictments against carraway, a former teacher's aide. today his mother disclosed where he abused his child. >> the school. the municipal center. i don't know if it happened outside. but it also happened within my home. >> mr. carraway faces multiple life sentences if found guilty of these offenses. the states attorney office announced 23 count of aex abuse of a minor, 125 count of first, second and third degree sex offenses, 66 counts of creating child porn and 68 counts of possessing child porn. the office found a way to try

farewell today for a woman allegedly murdered by an ex-boyfriend just days after she got a protective order against him. a funeral service today for stephanie goodloe, shot to death while lying in her bed inside her southeast d.c. home. in the weeks before the death she contacted police several times to report harassment by her ex-boyfriend don't hairston who is charged with her murder. she is the mother of an 11-year-old girl. >> police identified a man who officers shot and killed when he pointed what appeared to be a gun at them. they say officers opened fire when sherman evans refused to put down the weapon which turned out to be a b.b. gun. it happened outside an apartment complex in northeast d.c. investigators aring looing at the possibility the case could have been an incident of suicide
