reportedly hit isis near the iraqi city of falluja killing at least 250 islamic state fighters. nbc news has not eindependently verified reports. an isis convoy was reported fleeing just outside of the city. at least 40 vehicles carrying fighters and weapons were destroyed. the strikes are among the deadliest ever against isis and this comes just days after falluja was liberated from islamic state control after more than two years. and 24 hours after the deadly istanbul attack that killed 40 and injured 140, the country's ataturk airport is now up and running. an investigation is still underway at this hour. america's cia chief says the massacre in istanbul bears the marks of isis while also warning of potential attacks here in the u.s. pete williams has more. >> reporter: the deadliest and most complex attacks carried out

>> as they're losing territory, as they're losing their central narrative of this kind of state that they're creating, they will try to inspire through the internet these lone wolf types of attacks. >> reporter: in the past two and a half years federal agents have arrested 93 people on isis related charges. average age 26. three quarters are u.s. citizens. more than half of those arrested were accused of trying to get to syria to join isis. but the u.s. has seen that number drop significantly in the past several months. the tsa says it has not changed its security position following the istanbul attack, but with attacks in the last few months there are concerns about how airports can be made safer. >> reporter: at select u.s. airports, miami, new york, atlanta and l.a., a high profile police presence, both in the terminals and outside, watching airport perimeter

a terrifying scene on a brazilian highway was caught on dash cam. a motorcycle tries to pass a minivan when the vehicle swerves into the right lane hitting the bike and flipping the rider off the bridge. he survived but suffered broken legs. he was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. it was the largest raid in miami-dade history. over $24 million seized in one spot. the cash was found in five gallon buckets at the home of a suspected marijuana trafficker. police also recovered a weapon. the 44-year-old is being held on multiple drug and fire arms charges and his sister was also arrested. police received a report
