national airport station where the most recent incident happened yesterday. >> reporter: this is a regularly scheduled board meeting happening at 9:00 this morning. we're expecting to get some more information about a couple of things that happened this week here at reagan national airport at the metro station here. the first is an incident where a train operator ran a rlt here at the airport station. this is the second time in two weeks this this has happened. the other incident happening last week at the glenmont station. now, this latest red light running incident happened at 9:00 in the morning yesterday morning. a yellow line train was pulling slowly into the station. that's when controllers got an alert that the train had passed a red signal many no one was

prosecutors argue baltimore failed to buckle gray up in the back of the police van last april. investigators say he received in the van. 5 was uncooperative at the time of the his arrest. to minnesota now where a funeral is set today for philando castile. he is a man police in minneapolis shot and killed last week. officers originally said they pulled over the carcass steel was in for a broken taillight. that theory is being questioned. his death sparked protests into an ambush attack on police. house democrats will pressure republicans to take action on gun control. they will take part in the national speak out on gun?v=eáso violence event on the west lawn of the capitol.

soon there could be no parking at the king street metro station. today, the metro board is expected to decide if the public should weigh in on that project which calls for eliminating the 30 short-term parking spaces that are there now. the redesign would increase the bus space from 6 to 10 . we're learning how many of you are using the d.c. street car. it opened back in february. between 60,000 and 70 rk 000 people use it every month. 2,400 riders on an average day. the average on saturdays went up between march and april but dropped in may. the big top is going up in tysons. cirque du soleil's tent will be set up as a traveling tent will be up in our area. this is video f

car, bumped someone, rammed them or confront somebody. and they say the most aggressive group are males 19 to 39 years old who are three times more likely than females to engage in so-called aggressive driving. this is important because there's been a surge in traffic deaths over the last year. 35,000 to be exact. 80% of drivers say it's a problem. even more say it makes them feel fearful of their safety. nih and harvard look at this. it's a condition they call intermittent explosive disorder. it's often popped up as a defense in court. it's not too successful there. don't engage people. don't offend. be tolerate and know that somebody might be having a bad day and certainly don't respond if somebody engages you, don't make eye contact. good rules for the road. we're live on the beltway. back to you.

this is video from the scene last june after a shooting in the parking lot of a germantown target store. donald bricker jr told them that night he was guilty. he accepted a plea deal but says he didn't have the right counsel when making that decision. a d.c. man faces charges after police say he snapped some photos up a woman's skirt with his cell phone. 34-year-old mario revelo was arrested within minutes at the courthouse metro station. arlington county police say the woman caught him in the act and cornered him. you can see it right here on the surveillance footage as she walks and tries to keep him in line there. two other passengers stepped in to help. they are investigating if any other victims are out there. a big honor for more than 50 kids. today, michelle obama is hosting them at the white house. annual state dinner for kids. you are looking at video from the event last year. th

they say it range everything from gestures, dirty looks to actually getting out of the car and trying to run somebody off the road and during a physical confrontation with other drivers. that 80% translates to 104 million drivers. aaa says it's most likely to happen in the northeast and males aged 18 to 39 are more likely to do it than females in that same age group. what do they say you should do if you are engage in this or you thith you might be prone to it. first off, they say don't do anything that caused anybody to change their direction or move them over or things like that. be calm and quiet. don't engage anyone. if they are trying to engage you in some sort of road rage, just don't maintain eye contact, look straight ahead and be calm and safe. that's probably the best thing you can do overall. we're live in alexandria. derrick ward, back to you. today, we may learn more about two dangerous incidents involving metro

is when the board of directors meets. the most recent incident happened yesterday at reagan national airport. last week, an operator was fired because of an incident at glenmont. turning now to an ongoing transgender battle in virginia. the gloucester county school board wants to keep a transgender male out of the boys restroom until the supreme court rules on a case. grim was born female but identifies as male. the aclu brought the original lawsuit on behalf of grim, arguing that the school board's policy was segregating transgender students from their peers. d.c. police are investigating discrimination claims made by transgender women. they went to pan necker pool
