hillary clinton. if they are going to win this, it's going to be them saying, you can't be for hillary clinton. politics relies on emotion. >> the speeches have been a lot about hillary clinton, as much if not more about a takedown of hillary clinton than a positive case for donald trump. hillary clinton has high negatives, so is this effective in terms of flushing out for peop people, this is why you don't feel good about her or does it overestimate how much people don't care for hillary clinton? >> i think we underestimate the power of negative messaging, and you have to raise your positives. in this campaign, in this climate with these candidates, it's never going to happen. this is going to be an incredibly negative campaign and

here on nbc. new developments this morning surrounding the zika virus outbreak. and there's an investigation of a new case that did not stem from travel to another region of the world. if it is confirmed it would be the first evidence that zika has spread to mosquitos here in the continental u.s. it can cause rare birth defects and other neurological conditions. and then most lanes to the tappan zee bridge re-opened this morning after a crane collapsed across the entire width of the bridge on tuesday. this create add traffic nightmare. the bridge was shut down in both directions for about five hours and transportation officials say six of the seven lanes re-opened and no cars were hit when that crane
