breaking news, a shooting at nova fairfax hospital. >> we now know a fairfax county sheriffs deputy shot a man. we have more information at the live desk. >> good morning to you. we've got word from the police that the deputy who fired at that man, he felt threatened. we're taking a look right now this is near nova fairfax. we're told this is after darcy spencer broke this story, we learned that police responded, deputy responded to reports of a suspicious man who was sitting at the bus stop near the hospital. the

cardin and ike legget will visit the scene of that deadly fire apartment explosion. one person is still unaccounted for. a sixth body was found in the rubble yesterday. it's likely all the victims won't be identified for several weeks. an eighth person who had been listed as missing was not in the building and has now been found safe. washington gas officials may also return to that site today. they are visiting nearby buildings. developing this morning, five people are in the hospital after a crash involving a fire truck in columbia heights. d.c. fire rescue says that truck was responding to a call when it collided with a car on monroe and holemead. the lights and sirens were on when it happened. two people who had to be plooid out of the car are

condition. four firefighters were evaluated as a precaution but are expected to be okay. a double murder case that haunted our area for decades could take a new twist today. our news partners at wtop report that patricia jean welsh plans to enter a plea for perjury for the lyons sisters murders. they disappeared from the mall. they believe that the man kidnapped them, killed them and buried them. >> two incidents are racing security concerns at cia headquarters in langley, virginia. thomas luu is expected to plead guilty today. her son was troubled and distraught by the

a pennsylvania man was stopped at the gate carrying a rifle and a dagger. court records say the man was trespassing. at the live desk, we have that big development in that fast moving wildfire in northern california. this man, damien pashlik was arrested in connection with the fire. the 40-year-old charged now with 17 counts of arson and that number could grow. another difficult day for firefighters, 100 miles north of san francisco. this fire still only 5% contained. police still trying to determine a motive for the person they allege to be an arsonist. also developing right now a man accused in deadly shootings outside of a mosque is expected to be arraigned today. oscar moore was
