urge trump to accept results of the election. the moment led to a lot of discussion on msnbc after the debate. republican political analyst nic on flle wallace, had tough words for trump. >> he laid in his own coffin with a hammer and nail and pounded in the lid. lights out in american politics. that single comment will define the rest of this election. all twenty days that we have and it is a disqualifying comment to say you will not accept the results of american democracy, the beacon of democracy. >> wallace said trump had nice moments in the debate but that single moment, as you heard, will now define the rest of this race. turning now to hillary clinton's performance, msnbc's chris matthews said clinton was in airplane mode but managed to come out ahead of trump because

the other in nevada. secretary clinton will not be on the trail today. her surrogates will though. tim kaine will make two stops in north carolina. president obama will campaign in florida while first lady michelle obama heads to arizona. vice president joe biden will make the case in new hampshire. we're hearing from the voters. we sent a reporter out to hear after the third presidential debate. a developing story in prince george's county where a mother and father are now charged in the death of newborn. antoine petty is expected in court after he admitted to killing his three month old son. on monday, the baby and his mother were reported missing. the couple was found and led detectives to a shallow grave in riverdale. the father assaulted the baby but they're not releasing any more information about the death. the mother is charged with accessory after the fact.

there are four proposals on the floor that will reduce hours by eight hours overall throughout the week. metro's gm is proposing this reduction for more maintenance on the tracks. the system has fallen into disrepair over the years and this reduction in services will allow critical time to allow them to maintain the system. get if it in good working order. there has been a lot of trofrs adam tuss rode the rails with mayor muriel bowser and she questioned the need to cut hours. >> if nobody believes in the system and the hours don't serve them, we would be basically putting our system out of business slowly but surely. >> now, there is an open house today that will happen between noon and 9:00 tonight. also, a public hearing between 12:30 this afternoon and 10:00

molette, good morning. >> reporter: aaron, good morning to you. this is a story that is very difficult to hear. in fact, prince george's county police called it heartbreaking and horrifying. the big questions this morning is why. what possible motive could a father have for assaulting and killing his newborn son. we saw a handcuffed antoine petty in prince george's county. the police cuff the mother also facing charges up the crime. both parents led police to a shallow grave found in a wooded area in the river dale section of prince george's county. the baby had been missing for a month. police believe little antoine was killed in late september. he was just three months old. family members got suspicious when the parents apparently, their stories about where the baby was varied from time to

now we're all hungry. a major local school district is accused of dropping the ball after a high school english instructor was arrested for sexually assaulting a student. scott mcfarland and the news4 i-team has been working for months. he has a preview of a story you'll only see tonight on news4. >> the teacher was arrested in 2004 accused of sexually touching a student in the classroom. he pleaded guilty to assault and the school d resign his job. they intended to revoke the teacher's license but the news4 i-team learned the school district failed to do so. didn't send in the necessary paperwork despite a handwritten note reminding them to do so by the state. that same teacher escaped losing his license and found a new job in a different district leading to another charge involving a student. >> something went wrong for this to happen. the whole system is designed to prevent this happening.
