arrested booked charge norton pleaded guilty to assault and a fourth degree sex offense in court. the victim's father said the case this an enormous impact on the family. >> i think people assume educators are there to protect our kids. >> reporter: she is a counsellor for sex offenders and pushes for background checks on teachers. >> abuse happens in all races, all religions, all neighborhoods, all education level. >> reporter: this was no common case skmrks brad norton was no common teacher. he had a secret. down the road in virginia. a secret now being made public by the i-team n. 2004 he was teaching here, heyfield secondary, fairfax county public school. but only briefly because in 2006 he was arrested. we found the details are strikingly similar. according to school district

and it is blistering. now, it claims that antoine pit, who is now just 22 years sold an extremely dangerous predator who, quote, must be incarcerated until he is no longer physically capable of raping another woman or harming another person. he was on probation for a 2013 robbery. he cut off his bracelet. he was arrested for selling drugs. days later he entered a home and raped a mother of two who was working at home. court document say that pit beat the woman so badly she needed facial reconstruction surgery. he was convicted in june. we have learned at tomorrow's sentencing prosecutors will ask the judge to sentence him to a prison term of 60 years.
