degrees. and it's pretty blustery at that point. tomorrow morning, we're waking up to temperatures in the upper 40s. i'll be watching for your saturday hour by hour and talking about when the winds will start to die down. >> all right, thank you, amelia. tears in a prince george's county krurt as a couple accused of killing their 3-month-old baby faced a judge for the first time. the father is accused of punching the little boy before both of them took him to a park and allegedly buried hin shallow grave. tracee wilkins was in the courtroom and learned about the family's history with domestic violence. >> what you have to remember is that baby had been buried in the grave for a number of weeks. family members searching for the baby, and also its mother before police were able to locate the parents and find out that they were responsible for the baby's death. the day in court, the maternal grandmother cried, saying the

back. >> few words outside court today from fam aeb members of a woman accused of aiding in the murder of her infant son, and then a cover-up. >> we're all in a state of shock. >> a judge maintained petty $120,000 bond and confirmed no bond for her husband antoine petty. the two are charges in connection to the death of their 3-month-old antoine fleming. september 21st, inside the green belt apartment, antoine petty punched his 3-month-old in the torso in an effort to stop him from crying. the infant eventually lost consciousness. both parent then placed the baby in a 1980 town car for at least 24 hours before burying him in a shallow grave behind this baseball field at park dale high school in riverdale. today in court, the maternal grandmother told the judge, i'm a survivor of domestic violence.

search safe at home. new at 6:00, a father from germantown is facing child neglect charges after doctors found pcp and xanax in a baby's system. the child's mother called the boy to the hospital after the son called at work and said the baby's gnaw breelthing. the hospital was doing routine bloodwork when they found the drugs in the system. the mother said the father was supposed to take care of her and didn't move a bottle o >> a former contractor for the nsa is going to have to stay in jail until his trial is over. he's accused of stealing a staggering amount of classified material. today, the judge ruled harold martin could be a flight risk. federal prosecutors charged him with violating the espionage act. they say they found classified documents laying around his house in glen burnie and in the back seat and truck of his car. between the documents and the data on unmarked hard drives,

pages. martin could be a prime target for some foreign government, especially if he has information stored electronically, but defense attorneys argue there's no evidence that martin intended to betray his country. >> tonight, a mother demanding answers after her son was shot by d.c. police. it happened a week ago, and now that man is fighting for his life, and police won't het the mark segraves is live. >> good evening. this took place last friday night on wheeler, on waller place in southeast washington. just off wheeler road. tonight, i sat down with the victim's mother, daphne george. she tells me this has been like a one-two punch for her and her family. first, her son is shot and in critical condition. now, she's not allowed to visit him in the hospital or even talk with his doctors.

you want to go to the hospital and visit him. and stand by him, be able to hold his hand and kiss him. >> 23-year-old mark george was shot multiple times by police late friday night on waller place southeast after police were called to that street for the sounds of gunshots. police say when they approached george, he fled, and as police were chasing him, they say george pulled out a gun. that's when an officer opened fire. george's attorney says george he's demanding mayor bowser release body cam video from the incident. police have said none of the officers on the scene at the time were wearing body cameras because most of them were undercover. >> and for none of those officers to be wearing the body cameras is unconscionable. >> the family doesn't believe their son had a gun when police shot him. >> law enforcement have spoken with at least one witness who was present on the scene who had

answers about what happens, george's mother said her pain is worse because she's not allowed to be with her son in the hospital because he's under arrest. she said it would be easier to visit him if he were in prison. >> that's the hard part. >> if she could see her son, she would hold his hand and give him two messages. >> that i love him, and he has to just stay strong. >> now, george would not allow us to speak with the witnesses who they say contradict the police version of the story. police said in a statement that george did a fun and pulled the gun while police were chasing him. we hoped to talk to police, but they declined our request for an interview today. as to why some of the police officers did not have body cameras, d.c. is still in the stages of rolling out the body cam program, so not every uniformed officer is equipped with one yet, and most of the officers on scene that night are undercover officers, and they do

much, mark. we're following some new fallout from a news 4 i-team investigation. a fairfax county school board member has launched a formal review of how often the district has sought to revoke the licenses of problem teachers. it's in response to a story our i-team broke. >> we found a former fairfax county high school teacher pleaded guilty to assaulting a student but escaped losing schools failed to send in the necessarily paperwork to state officials allowing the man to find a new teaching job in another district and find another victim. police first arrested brad norton in 2004 after a student in alexandria accused him of sexual assault in the classroom. within weeks, he was charged, pleaded guilty to assault, and agreed to quit his job. but fairfax schools never

rather than being disqualified from entering a clasroom again, he labded a new job in baltimore county where in 2012, he was arrested again, accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old. he pleaded guilty to a sex offense in that case. fairfax county public schools declined to answer our questions about how norton slipped through the cracks, saying for legal reasons, it couldn't comment on personnel matters. today, board of education member formal review and formal count of all teacher license revocations the district has sought since 2000. schultz says the data will show if there were years in which there were gaps or trandz, years in which license revocation dipped significantly. >> if parents are sending their children to school, they need to think that we've done our due diligence, that they're safe, and if anything leads to the separation of a teacher, that

now in pennsylvania. 20 electoral votes. what's his strategy less than three weeks to go? >> what you're seeing if you watch it carefully, i feel as if the rnc has had a lot of influence on his travel schedule, because if today -- he does not campaign in battleground states that hasn't featured a major senate race in over a month. we have noticed, basically during debate season. look, how do you make lemonade out of lemons? you send trump to where he's popular in the battleground turn out and swing voters. don't swing him to woo swing voters. so he's not going to be in philadelphia, but send him to the more rural parts of pennsylvania. not going to be in charlotte, but send him to western carolina. richard burr, senator from north carolina, needs trump voters and swing voters. use trump where he can be most effective. now, you hope that trump doesn't say something at those rallies that causes problems. if today, watching him today, if
