our weather headlines. >> off to a clear start on this monday morning. there is capitol hill under a mostly clear sky. we have a beautiful, crescent moon in the southern sky this morning. we'll stay dry with dry pavement and temperatures are down into the low to mid-50s early this morning but fairly mild around the bay. it is in the upper 50s there. to our west we have some what mild temperatures this morning in tow ridge. as we go forward for the day, temperatures will stay in the low 50s to mid-50s through mid morning and start climbing into the 60s by late morning. now melissa is checking in on this early morning. got a problem on the bw parkway. >> an issue on the bw parkway. we know there was a crash here in some of the lanes and now it spilled into both sides of the roadway. so, northbound and southbound bw parkway. this is in the area of 197.

here at the live desk. just into the live desk, famous anti-war activist tom hayden has died. he sparkled the anti-vietnam movement. he died sunday night from complications related to a stroke he suffered more than a year ago. hayden, who was at one time married to jane fonda served two decades as a california state lawmaker >> thank you, angie. it is 4:29. we're learning more about what caused the deadly tour bus crash in california. the ntsb will give an update this afternoon. 13 were killed and 30 injured. tour bus was traveling fast when it slammed into the back of a semi truck early sunday morning. most of the passengers were asleep as the bus headed to los angeles from a casino.

against a prince george county school aide. michael pettefy will be in court. prosecutors say surveillance video shows him sitting next to two students with special needs and touching them inappropriately. the incidents happened last november and this past may. now to this developing story out of germantown. a man is in critical condition and a suspect is in custody after a stabbing at a night on kilmernoff way. after the stabbing, the suspect stole a get away car and abandoned it. the person was arrested at 9:00 on charity lane. two men were found stabbed in the area of south market street and carol creek way early saturday morning. they're expected to survive. colin edwin lee of middletown has been arrested but police are
