today the man accused of brutally murdering a d.c. family and setting their home on fire will be in court. it was one of of the biggest stories in our area when it broke in may of 2015, darren wentz is accused of killing a family in a mansion in northwest washington. they charge wint with the help of dna of a slice of pizza found at the scene. also today, the appear in court. the judge will consider setting bond for kilah jones. jones stabbed minor to death last week. jones is claiming self defense. minor threatened her and stole her cell phone. that is when jones stabbed minor in the chest with a steak knife. she called an uber and left the crime scene.
