get off to the side and make sure my baby is okay. >> the little girl is okay. police caught up with the suv driver in vienna but didn't find a weapon and they're not sure how the window shattered. the plan to build express lanes on 66 is moving forward. terry mcauliffe said they picked mobility partners to build the lane. taxpayer money will not be used. the group agreed to give the could be spent on another transportation program in the corridor. transurban, the company who runs the hot lanes on 495 and 59 put in a bid. the construction is set to begin in 2017. the school bus driver involved in that horrific crash in baltimore should not have been driving. the maryland motor vehicle administration says glen chapels license was suspended. they say he never renewed his

health. he also had a criminal conviction which could have disqualified him from driving school buses. he died in the crash along with an mta bus driver and four passengers of the mta bus. no kids were on the school bus at the time of of the crash on tuesday morning. we're working to get new information on a developing story in the district. d.c. police are investigating a shooting in the 4300 block of fourth street southeast. they say a man in his 20s was shot last night before 9:30. at last check, he was in critical condition. we're making additio police have made any arrests or have new suspect information. we do have new information on another shooting in the district that left one man dead. police have released the identity of the victim. he is joshua munson of district heights. the 22-year-old was killed in the 1600 block of t street southeast. it happened late wednesday night. today the man who police say shot two d.c. public school administrators will be in court.

to kill. he shot the man and woman as they sat in the car earlier this year. the victim's car was stuck in the snow there. according to the charging documents, the male victim believes his brother was shot and killed by headspeth in 2007. the woman accused of brutally killing her infant son in 2013 will be arraigned on tuesday. a grand jury indicted lillian alvardo. sh d after giving birth in a bathtub in d.c.'s brightwood neighborhood. police arrested her as she was trying to dispose of the body. alvarado faces life in prison. a u.s. park police officer shot himself in the foot while trying to stop a raccoon attack. the officer was in rock creek park after someone called about the animal. the raccoon attacked the officer who accidently shot himself while fighting off the raccoon. a second officer arrived and killed the animal.

raccoon was rabid. the injured officer is expected to be okay. don't. don't. >> raccoon attack. >> don't. >> and chuck gets on me about not wanting to be okay. i'm just saying. 4:36 right now. this morning, a metro transit police officer is on administrative leave for reportedly pushing two women. laurel watkins shot this video of the incident on saturday at dupont circle. officer andy vin asked her and a friend to leave the station tape shows them asking to leave many times before he appears to push them toward the fair gate. watkins says she was bruised in the incident. metro reviewed vin once before after an incident involving a teen but the teen never filed a complaint. there are sharp divisions within metro about what to do about a nearly $300 million budget short fall. the general manager's budget proposes fare increase, cuts in service and layoffs. it is prepared to double the

what do you got going on? >> my wife is having a heart attack. >> we got to get her out. >> she is not breathing. >> a woman suffering a heart attack was saved by a police officer just in the knick of time. a woman's husband and daughter were rushing her to the hospital in oklahoma when they were pulled over. when the officer found out what was going on, he jumped into, a and performed cpr. the officer saved the woman's life. >> it looks like she w full recovery because of the quick way you administered cpr. >> that is the first time it has ever been truly saving somebody's life. >> doctors say the heart attack the woman suffered was so severe, only 10% of people survive it. an amazing escape for a driver who plunged into a canal. take a look. this happened in arizona. the driver apparently crashed through a fence before landing in the canal. the exact cause of of the accident is still unknown. officials aren't sure whether
