a serious crash in prince georges county involving a pedestrian and suv. police say a man was walking along landover and dodge park road when he was struck by the suv. this happened just 11:00 last night. arriving officers found the man unresponsive. they were able to rush him to the hospital. his injuries described as critical. the suv driver did stay on the scene after that crash. first responders practice their response to an emergency on metro today. it was only a drill. it tested their ability to evacuate a disabled train because of smoke in tunnel. this was all this morning at the southern avenue station in southeast d.c.
