wins. this morning in philadelphia, urgency to get the transit strike over, at least for a day. city officials filed a motion to seek an injunction to halt the transit strike for election day. they shut down the city's buses, subways and trolleys, also stranding hundreds of thousands of commuters. and officials hoping the injunction will stick for the election. the hearing is later this morning. hong kong protesters clash outside of a governmental office last night. they doused thousands of protesters with pepper spray but they shielded themselves with umbrellas. some even had gas masks on hand. it's over bejing's decision to bar newly elected politicians to
