i'm david kul ver. we are talking about a wild weather weekend. tom is tracking big changes in the weather center. good morning. >> good morning. right now we are chilly under a clear sky and then later today soaring to near 70 degrees and then showers moving in late afternoon, windy and much colder. we have a wind advisory. valley, from noon today until sunday. we could have winds gusting as high as 55 miles an hour. we may have tree damage and power outages are likely. there's the predawn glow. we're calm now with a light breeze w temperatures are 30 to near 40 degrees. most areas are well above freezing.

kentucky. they'll be coming into our hour later this afternoon. a very busy overnight for firefighters in the alexandria section of fairfax county. the deputy chief telling us a woman was burned badly in this blaze. they rushed her to the hospital. crews took another adult to the hospital as well with less serious injuries. there out what caused the fire. michelle reece is set to meet with president-elect trump in new jersey. she's under consideration for the possible position for secretary of education. her tenure in d.c. was -- trump will meet with mitt romney as a possible secretary of state pick.

it's 6:30 on this saturday. one woman is in the hospital with very serious burns after this early morning fire in the alexandria section of fairfax county and another person is hurt and being treated in the hospital. michelle reece is going to sit down with presid she's being named as a possible pick for education secretary. four people are dead after a plane crash in nevada. the plane was taking a heart patient and three crew members to a hospital in utah when it crashed into a nearby parking lot. the cause of that crash is under investigation. we welcome you in on this saturday morning.

a victory for environmentists. the obama administration has blocked drilling in al skau. a man arrested for stealing a puppy from a home says he was trying to save the puppy from abuse. the puppy was returned last week after the man turned himself surveillance video showed him taking the dog from a home last month. you can see that video right there. pulls him over the fence. he said the dog was neglected and he provided vet bills to show he cared for the puppy. the owner denied those claims. cows on the loose. prince william county, this is where it happened or at least that was the case last thursday night. a group of them in the front
