shared many memorable moments for "today." florence spoke to matt in 2015. >> you say you feel better now than when you were 30. what makes you happy in life these days? >> i try to get up every day and say, wow, it's a great day, i am alive. i have four healthy children, five healthy grandchildren, i have grand dogs, i have friends. i am so blessed to be able to i work all the time. i am just grateful. >> when she wasn't appearing on tv, she was powpg in commercials, peecly poised, pitching products from wesson oil to polycan't. >> cleans and freshens. >> henderson continued to appear on tv in a variety of shows. in 2010, at age 76, she competed on "dancing with the stars." overnight, celebriies sent

work and entertainment, she's right, she was always in demand, always working. she was so good at what she did, from america's mom. by the way, could there have been a better role for florence henderson than mrs. brady? she nurtured everybody, she was so caring. every time you saw her and she walked into the studio, the first thing was the hug, then the kiss, it wasn't greet writing she said how are you and your family? she meant it. you had to stop and tell her how your family was going. if you didn't have stories and pictures, she wo let you go. >> you talk about that nurtuing spirit. i walked with her this last february on the catwalk and she said, just go out and have fun with it. that sense of humor was amazing,

optimistic consumer. lines bigger than last year. >> reporter: americans spent $1.5 billion online on thanksgiving day, a 14% jump from last year. almost half a billion dollars have been spent on mobile devices alone. >> we're looking pretty good for "black friday" and the holiday season in general. a lot of companies and consumers are happy the election is sales expected to climb 3.6% this year and shoppers started earlier than ever on thanksgiving day. >> 3, 2, 1. >> reporter: shoppers entered the doors for big discounts on boots and cashmere sweaters. and the big discounts are on toys and pet supplies.

lighter showers around the great lakes, nothing to worry about today. saturday, we have both coasts dealing with the possibility of delays in san francisco and boston area, because of low clouds and reduced visibility. it will be a little breezy across new england. we could see showers cauing delays at san francisco airport on saturday. if you're driing again, that i-95 corridor because of the coastal storm starting to you go, rain and snow showers cauing problems. on sunday, still looking at tricky conditions across the mountain passes and storms develop across the country and the north could see delays as well. boston we could see low clouds and breezy conditions cauing delays at the airports. overall doesn't look that bad. a couple areas to keep in mind. >> thank you so much.
