this missing 12-year-old. detectives say aleah williams was last seen in district heights, she may be wearing pink boots, a white vest and jeans. if you think you've seen her live police a call. we're waiting to learn more about the body found yesterday afternoon by a photographer at the point lookout state part in maryland. the sheriff's office says the body is that of missing prince george's county person. they have not released a possible cause of death b that same park earlier this month. d.c. police are looking for two men who robbed a postal worker at gunpoint. this happened saturday on second and adams street in northeast. the postal worker says the men pistol-whipped, punched and kicked him. the postal inspection service is offering up to $50,000 for information that leads to an arrest. in northern virginia there is a search for whomever vandalized nearly 30 vehicles this weekend. take a look at the damage here.

and with the flip of a switch the holiday treeilluminated. i did do the honors again this year at city center which is in downtown washington, the ceremony has become a tradition in the area to ring in the holiday season. the tree is huge. there it is. gorgeous. 75 feet tall with more than 4500 handmade ornaments, 15,000 lights. gorgeous, right? this year there is a special art installation in palmer alley in city center, d.c., large snowflakes suspended above the alley that make it look like a winter wonderful. if you don't get a chance to go there, that's the palmer alley installation, it really puts you in the spirit. you can check it out through january, it's by a great art company, it's called swatch room and i put an inter room on my facebook page with the artist. check it out.

scratching their heads this morning. four days after the mysterious release of sherry papini investigators still don't know what her abductors look like. she was kidnapped while jogging along california's interstate 5. she was found on the side of a road on thanksgiving morning by a passing driver. she is expected to begin the long process of helping detectives solve this case. >> hours, weeks of investigation that witness, she's the one that can help break this case wide open. >> so far authorities have only described the kidnappers as two hispanic women armed with a gun driving a dark suv. they have offered no motive in the case. the search continues for two gunmen responsible for a deadly shooting on new orleans famous bourbon street. a 25-year-old man died and nine people were hurt in that sunday

got out of control. they also believe the shooters were visiting new orleans and may have already left town. going out of state for college could get you a better deal. a new associated press report found at least 50 public universities are lowering the cost of non-resident tuition. some have dropped prices by more than 10% while keeping in state prices the same. it is an effort to get students on to campus since high school 2011. the affects of divorce may stick with children for years. a new report reveals that many kids have behavior problems immediately after a divorce and they may continue to feel sad much longer. experts say pediatricians can help parents better understand the reactions and also refer children to a mental health specialist if it's needed. don't forget to shop safely, especially when it comes to choosing children's toys.
