that swept through a warehouse where a concert was taking place friday night. good evening and thanks for joining us. i'm erika gonzalez. right now we know nine bodies have been found. but officials say there could be at least forty people dead. officials are saying as many as a hundred people were inside that warehouse when the fire broke out last night and many of them, they were young individuals. we'll get the latest right now >> reporter: investigators openfully fear they are going to find dozens of bodies, people unable to escape the flames. >> we're expecting the worst, maybe dozens of victims here. and we dealt with a room full of people. and families hold out for hope until they hear.

and we noticed on our trek, normally 12 hour drive, turned 20. and here we in the plaza de revolution. block after block shut down so people could come here. all of this happening as the remains of fidel castro finish from the grounds to the rooftops, the people consider fidel castro to be one of their own, the man whose presence overwhelmed. even in death attracts an audience. his name alone evokes a range of emotion, depending who you ask, from fear and hatred to love and admiration.

if you are coming down you definitely want to bundle up. it is quite chilly out here. behind me you can see some of the dock boats decked out in holiday light. the parade expected to go right around 6:30 this evening. as they were getting ready for the parade, they were actually heading over to alexandria. that is where the parade is going to kick off. then they sail over here to the water front again i've been here for this before. it is very beautiful, quite spectacular. and there are other events going on as well. >> we've got a bonfire, makal smores. and giving out hot cocoa. great for the holidays.
