linked to the carolina kohn campaign. he has a record back from 2000 p which includes a marijuana possession and drinking and driving. man who plotted to attack the u.s. capitol during the state of the union mr. spend the next 30 years in prison. prosecutors say the ohio man wanted to carry out the terror attack in the name of isis. cornell admitted he searched building bombs, the capitol semiautomatic rifles with ammunition. police in prince george's county are investigating two separate shootings that happened minutes apart. police say that male victim died at the hospital. just minutes before a shooting was reported along southern avenue. that victim was taken to the hospital and at last check is in critical condition. no arrests have been made in either shooting. it is a "storm team 4" weather alert day.

we have breaking news out of ohio where we have a video of a search for a gunman. this after a firefighter was shot. he was shot while riding in a fire truck. they were leaving the scene of a fire.

frankky williams was responding to a call when a toyota corolla crossed the median and ran into the car. both the drive over the corolla and trooper were killed. it was williams' first year with the state police. the fbi says it's investigating a specific imminent threat against the city's red line. investigators are trying to find actually credible. they say it came from another county, but we don't know where. today we could learn whether south carolina prosecutors plan to retry a former police officer for murder. a mistrial was declared in michael slager's trial. he shot and killed water skoal during a traffic stop last year. slager said he let his sense of thought get the best of him. video of the endowner to seems
