through the night i should say. usually it's through the day but it's actually through the night the temperatures are rising. we will have some rain and we are going to have some wind by the time we get into tomorrow afternoon. and then our next chance of rain after that is going to be on thursday. speaking of thursday, i've got your christmas forecast coming up on that ten-day in just a few minutes. 43 is the temperature right now. we do have those clouds out there, those winds are calm, thank goodness we don't have to deal with the wind factor. but temperatures already starting to come up and they'll continue to come up during the overnight. but as i said earlier, we will have some problem spots, and mainly these problem spots are coming up here through frederick county, maryland, even just to the west along i-81. now, look at this. because some areas made it into the lower 60s. fredricksburg in the lower 60s. now the temperatures in the 50s. but the reason our temperatures are warming is because we've got a warm front that is going to lift to the north and eventually it is going to win out over that cold air. it has just taken its good old time. so again, 32 in

a.m. that's that frontal system moving through. by 5:00 p.m. we're all back in the 40s. back to the west in the 30s. not only that, winds are picking up tomorrow. so now we have a wind chill we're talking about. it's going to feel more like we're in the 20s and 30s by tomorrow afternoon. so big swing in temperatures. i know a lot of people are probably going to get sick of this as we go through the weekend. 6:30 tomorrow morning most of us are dry. and then we'll start to see some rain move in. but look how it's broken. less than a quarter of an inch of rain. we'll continue to see it move through during the midday. and then behind it we are looking dry. all the way through your monday morning. so in terms of your ten-day forecast we've got? sunshine. look at this. 30s on monday. we're back in the 40s through mid-week. we will have some rain on thursday. and then for your christmas eve, hanukkah beginning, we've got 40s, 50s by christmas. >> all right. thank you, lauren. police in hudson, new york desperately breaking into a frozen snow-covered car thinking that an elderly woman had been trapped in there overnight. so they get this frantic
