a judge ordered a mental health evacuation after the december 17th shoplifting arrest. court records show he's wanted in montgomery county and prince george's county for failing to present in court. all of this bewilders and saddens friends of trisha mccally as they walk. the vigil was originally scheduled as a way to share hope she would be found. >> she might be gone but she's not forgotten. >> reporter: it turned into a tribute to her spirit described by friends as light filled and uniquely loving. >> reporter: johnson is currently being held without bond. live in northwest, jackie bensen, news 4. >> jackie, thank you. police want anyone who may have seen the suspect with that victim's car to come forward. we have a map of the locations where the vehicle was spotted on our nbc washington app. us

breaking news in the district tonight. two people are hurt after a crash between the dc fire and ems truck and another vehicle. fire officials tweeted the truck was headed to a fire on mass avenue on northwest d.c. when it crashed blocks away. the first responder an the driver of the other week were taken to the hospital but expected to be okay. a police say a child was released from the hospital in a crash. the woman is expected to survive but she has severe injuries. a car hit both victims on parkland drive. they were rushed to the hospital. the driver did stay on the scene and so far no charges have been filed. another crash in montgomery county is fatal. an 83 died at the hospital after being involved in a crash. police say the

and ford van collided this morning in white oak. the van struck another vehicle. the van driver wasn't hurt and the driver of that third vehicle went to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. the crash is still under investigation. well, you may have left the coats at home today. temperatures soared close to record levels but it's not going to last. >> pull the coats back out, at least the jackets tomorrow. it will be a cold day compared to what we were today. today take a look at the numbers. just amazing. high of 68 degrees in the city. that's just 4 degrees shy of a record for the day. 63 in clinton. overnight tonight temperatures falling as they normally do. by tomorrow morning in the 30s. a nice looking wednesday afternoon. a few shower kmachances in the forecast thursday. and then a new year's forecast. i have the details for you and let you

>> thank you. we'll see you in a bit. uber is now banning drivers who cancel too many rides. because they don't like the destination. it's happening at our local airports. an uber driver is never supposed to know the destination of the trip until the trip has started. some drivers have called passengers in advance, manipulated the app or used a separate app to figure out the final destination. all of this is against uber's policy. one rider told news 4 he had to go through five separate uber drivers before one picked him up at reagan national airport. >> he said where are you heading y. i said downtown d.c. another minute later he cancelled. >> we reached out to cuuber. they said we believe uber is helping reduce transportation and

i'm a member on a diplomatic mission. the national air and space museum has been showing the new movie "rogue one" since it came out. fans seeing the movie are feeling the loss and say certain scenes are even more meaningful now. kristin wright is live at the air and space museum. she's been talking to "star wars" fans about carry fisher. >> reporter: jim, tonight's last screening of "rogue one" is happening right now inside here.
