much at all. most of it will be to the north and west. it's been going for the past couple of hours up there. around frederick, leesburg, hagerstown. the last couple of frames, starting to see the film on in here and it is coming to the east. it's been confined right along the blue ridge and just to the west. it's where the elevation changes, when it comes down to lower elevations, it's just drying out and that's going to be the case for about the next 20, 30 minutes. so i do still think we're going to see snow in the d.c. area but to the north and west, you're still going to see maybe another inch up here. some locations in this region may see a total of three inches. i'm tracking this storm and i'm also tracking what's going on right here. this is the last chance for d.c. to get in on the snow. it's the upper level winds coming right across our region. that's why'r

just to the north and west and we'll continue to see it push in d.c. i'm not too worried about d.c. region schools to the south and east. 33 degrees at 7 a.m., 35 at noon and 4:00, around 35 degrees. still could be some delays well to the north and west. that's what we'll be tracking early tomorrow morning. speaking of those roads, jackie, you're just starting to see the flurries just a few miles to the north. they've got a couple of inches. >> reporter: they have but, doug, you said 11. three minutes before the newscast started here we started seeing light snow flurries, a little hard to see in the lights at this point, you might be able to see the lens. i have a number for you, 1,000. that is the number of lane miles montgomery county's division of highway services said it treated this evening with a brine

magia of new jersey. his mother reported him missing back in october after he said he was heading in maryland thinking he would see a girl he met on facebook. but he was murdered and buried near a shallow grave near seneca park. that facebook page was run by some ms-13 games members and their girl friends. >> the facebook account was fictitious and several suspects arrested used that account to communicate with the female. >> in brentwood they arrested two people. last night three more suspected gang members were arrested. authorities are trying to figure out the connection between the suspects and the victims. >> two members of the liquor board face federal charges for alleged bribery and conspiracy. they were arrested after fbi

county today. two business owners also face charges. >> this conduct is not tolerated. those days are over in prince goerges county. >> reporter: this morning our cameras rolled as fbi agents collected boxes of files inside the prince goerges county liquor board office. this after one member of the board and the director of the board were charged with bribery and conspiracy. two business owners were arrested today and their stores raided. in the affidavit released by the u.s. state's attorney's office there appears to be additional elected officials under investigation for the part they played in what appears to be a scheme to bribe public officials for votes. the fbi is investigating a maryland state delegate in connection to the

the delegate isn't named but it's someone from the house home economic committee. georges michael vaughn was the only prince georges delegate to vote that way. he has not been charged or named in the investigation. they worked to get sunday liquor sales bills passed in the county and award specific licenses to specific businesses. fbi agents say the raids and arrests happened today because some worked to sabotage their investigation. >> opportunities for corruption arise when there's a nexus between government officials who have the power to make discretionary decisions and private citizens who stand to gain from the decisions of the e

elevati elevation, almost exactly. you go up 600 feet right there and you get the flow across. you're seeing snow to the north and the normal areas, higher elevations, damascus, frederick, bluemont, some locations picking up one to two inches of snow already where d.c. has not had many flakes at all tonight. we are lasting this last little burst, it's right here. that's the last piece of energy that will try to move on through the area. i do think it will bring snow to d.c. again, it not much, just as we've been talking about all day. temperatures 36 degrees. that means the road are going to be a-okay. where they're not okay, back to the west. sidewalks, watch out walking early tomorrow morning. could be a problem in those area. you notice by 5

by 8:00 the sun is up and snowfall totals, tonight less than an inch around d.c. north and west of our area, that's the one to two inches. i wouldn't be surprised for some areas to pick up three inches up towards the frederick area. those are the same locations that have been under the winter weather advisory all day and those are the same areas that will continue to do so until 5 a.m. now, watching our next system. that is going to track down to the south, toward atlanta and up the coast. now, how far up the coast is this storm going to come? you noticed the winter storm warnings all the way from charlotte and raleigh. this is now looking like some of the latest computer models, trying tocome in closer and give us some of the snow closer to the d.c. metro area. trending a little farther north,
