donald trump gets ready for a big weekend on capitol hill, he's reacting to targets attacks from celebrities at the golden globes. we're going to start first with a change in the weather. we have had one of the coldest days of the season. >> the sub freezing weather continues tonight. there's change coming our way. >> yes. take heart, we do have a wonderful warmup coming here toward the end of the week. but we're still going to have to deal with sub freezing temperatures into the night. at least we have some welcome sunshine back after that sort of dismal morning with the gray clouds. there's the washington monument, all brightly lit with afternoon sun on this monday. the temperatures are still hovering generally in the 20s just about everywhere. reagan national now at 26

landover road. the woman was trapped in her car. police shut down the interloop while firefighters tried to extricate her. in the district metro says all trains are running again after the latest report of smoke in a tunnel. fire trucks surrounded the u street station around 12:30 this afternoon after that report came in. the transit agency says the smoke likely came from an insulator. trains had to single track while engineers inspected. detectives need your help to find a teenage girl who has been missing for four weeks. leona lewis was last seen on savannah street. she was a little over five feet tall, weighs 120 pounds. if you have any information, d.c. police want to hear from you. one of the four people at the center of a liquor board bribery case

maybe some 60s coming on that ten-day forecast. another fire has been blamed on a hoverboard, this time at a house in southwest d.c. the fire displaced a family over the weekend. consumer reporter susan hogan is in our newsroom with the latest on the investigation. >> the u.s. consumer products safety commission confirmed it too is investigating this, adding this case to dozens of other fires blamed on hoverboards across the country. a resident at this home on 1st street in southwest d.c. received the hoverboard as a christmas gift this year. it ignited while plugged into the wall charging and quickly spread to nearby bedding. investigates could not determine the make or model of the hoverboard but say it was purchased at a store in oxen hill maryland. more than 60 hova

more than 20 states have happened and more than a half million hoverboards have been recalled citing the lithium batteries can over heat. alexandria police ahave reopened duke street after a major fire at a gas station. they had to close off the street while investigators looked for the cause of the fire at the shell station near jordan street. the fire didn't get near the actual fuel pumps. construction is underway to put stoplights at a busy intervinte intersection in ashburn where an 83-year-old cyclist lost his life in november. he was killed walking his bike across the street. he lived in the adjacent ashby
