physically feel calm or the heart-pounding freaking out thing. >> i usually have that right before i go on. then right before you got up on the beam, a lot of people would say, wow, 16 years old. like life has been amazing. you had issues going through this. how did you get through those? >> basically as a gymnast, everyone knows injuries come and go. mine happens in the middle of the year. i had to get surgery on my knee. i remember just laying in my couch, man, my knee hurts really

bad. >> i felt in love with your entire family. i had a little breakdown, because practice was really rough. this poor waitress kept bringing out piles of issues. she was like, i'm going to save these, and i'm like, you guys are crazy. we went on to eat as a family, and my sister gave my the goodie back. you felt you couldn't believe in yourself, we were there for you, so it was a defining moment. you looked up the
