it to you from the live desk. happening today and the trial date could be set for the man accused in the brutal family murder that rocked the district. he's charged with killing the family and their housekeeper back in 2015. prosecutors say he held the family hostage before setting the mansion on fire. a pizza crust left behind led the police to him. the government also says they have other items that connect him but they're not dna related. the defense says they need more time to test those items before a trial date can be set. he has pleaded not guilty to 20 felony charges. nearly a year and still no clues in a murder mystery but now fairfax police are looking for help. they're looking for a black pickup truck. it was seen around the time the 83-year-old was shot and killed last march at his home. if you know anything, give police a call. right now the green belt police department needs your

man, willie hill. take a look at his picture here. they say he left his home yesterday around 9:00 to take a morning walk, but never returned. he was wearing the same black and white plaid flannel shirt that you see in this picture along with blue jeans. the reward is increasing for information about a bethesda man who has been missing since december. that is the last time john patrick donohoe's family saw or heard from him. now they're offering a reward to anyone that can help find him. a woman was caught on surveillance video using his credit card on december 22nd. police have not said whether she is linked to his disappearance. a cyber attack targeted surveillance cameras right here in the district and this morning two people are in custody connected to this case. according to the washington post those people were arrested in london. one is a british man, the other is a swedish

the district's cameras days before the inauguration. security officials said there was never a threat to the public. if you can avoid taking metro this weekend, do it. metro is closing these six stations tomorrow and sunday to do work in the tunnels. buses will replace orange, blue and silver line service in downtown washington. the lower level platforms at metro center will also be closed. you have to go to virginia, take the yellow line and then transfer at gallery place for red line service. give yourself 45 minutes of extra time at least if you do take metro this weekend. ollie the bob cat had a full physical exam yesterday. the zoo says she got some booster shots and had one of her paws stitched up. she escaped her enclosure on monday, you might remember. she was found on wednesday on the zoo

decades of foreign policy. new sanctions could be announced against iran and relations are being tested with israel. >> we're live on capitol hill this morning. let's start with iran and those new sanctions. >> reporter: those sanctions could come as early as today. republicans and democrats approved those sanctions. however, some democrats criticized donald trump said that he may be acting too fast and not getting a consensus from the rest of our allies but these would go into place because iran launched a ballistic missile which they say they will continue to test the missile program. iran is now actually saying they're going to ban u.s. wrestlers from an international wrestling competition that's going on there so this seems to be escalating and we'll keep an eye on it. >> i want to talk about israel too. president trump is taking a much tougher stance on a u.s. ally here. >> reporter: exactly. originally trump sort of gave a support to israel. now the trump administration has issued a statement asking israel to b

breaches during the obama years. the new fence will be 11'7" tall and will have antti climb and intrusion technology. to prince george's county where a teenager has been arrested for allegedly killing a man at a gas station in district heights. police say robinson walked into the gas station on walters lane and fired one shot, killing kerrington day jr. investigators say they had an ongoing dispute. police are working to nab the man they say robbed one bank and then tried to rob another. both of the incidents happened yesterday at td bank. the banks are located on rhode island avenue northeast and 7th street in chinatown. he escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash at one of the banks. no one was hurt. a plea now for city official to the owner of a mobile home park slated to be closed. they're trying to get them to allow families with children to stay until the end of the school year. in

end mobile home park were told to be out by the end of the month because of failing sewer systems that the owners could not afford to fix. but a nonprofit is trying to raise enough money to fix the sewer and allow residents to stay. millions are suffering from substance disorders related to prescription opioid pills. hundreds of thousands are hooked on heroin and now there's worry that first responders don't have access to the life saving drug used to treat heroin overdoses. the cost is skyrocketing. so is the cost for dextrose for diabetics and epinephrine. they're either hard to come by or hard to afford and that has first responders concerned. >> there are medications within our national interest to have available. i don't think we would accept as a society that we could not resuscitate a cardiac arrest victim because the local ambulance sece

epinephrine or something like that. >> now, news 4 reached out to the pharmaceutical industry representatives for comment but we have yet to hear back. changes could be on the way to help better protect people walking or biking in virginia. according to our news parters at wtop a new bill would block drivers from using a bike lane to go around the car that stopped. it would also penalize distracted drivers who hit pedestrians, but some feel the new rules could confuse drivers. there are already a number of other states with similar laws in place. just a month after reston town center started their 24/7 paid parking a group of retailers are considering a lawsuit. stores say their sales are down anywhere from 10 to 50% compared to last year. the group is meeting on monday to discuss options. there are reports this morning of a twitter account that predicts the future. >> beyonce fans 666 is the twitter hand

nordstrom is cutting ties with ivanka trump. the company says declining sales are behind its decision to stop selling her brand which includes women's clothing, shoes and handbags. nordstrom and other retailers have also been dealing with boycott threats against companies who carry trump products. there is a warning about those liquid laundry packets. if they're popped and get into your eyes that could lead to vision loss. i still use the liquid. if you're picking out what to wear today, consider something red. today is wear red day. it's part of a kickoff
