a woman who went missing in montgomery county has been fo d found. she's okay. we showed you this video of angelica barahona-rivas leaving her shift. there was a lot of concern because her cousin was murdered. advisors say the president will use his prime time speech to declare early progress on his campaign promises. he's also expected to map out a path on healthcare and spending. rosie o'donnell is expected to lead a protest right outside the white house. an arrest 3,000 miles away for a kidnapping in georgetown. police say he forced a georgetown university student into a car in january, then tried to make the young man withdraw money from several atms. he was arrested in seattle.

boy was hit as he was walking to school. the accident happened at the intersection of lamond drive and ashland avenue. >> reporter: you can see the spray paint in the intersection there. that's all that's left behind of a terrible accident here this morning. it sent a 12-year-old boy to the hospital with serious injuries. he was crossing in this cross walk when he was struck by a car. the good news, he is expected to survive those injurieinjuries. the view from chopper 4 gives you a better perspective of what happened here. traffic was backed up in the lanes headed to the school. the school bus was blocking the box, another car in front of it. the boy had just crossed in front of the bus in the cross walk when a westbound car hit him, its windshield broken by

the victim was air lifted to a hospital. the school bus full of children who witnessed the crash. a body was pulled from a river in frederick at riverside center park. police and fire and rescue were able to pull it out of the water. we are awaiting word from investigators about the name of that victim. chopper 4 also over the scene in montgomery county as hazmat crews raced to clean up a fuel spill in silver spring. that fuel was leaking from a 55-gallon tank that was punctured. the team stopped the leak and cleaned up the spill. i just tweeted some information on a tragic accident blocking off several streets in northwest d.c. a construction worker was killed in a trench collapse this

it had two images of arrows piercing people's hearts. several jewish schools in our area are trying to get back to normal after they received bomb threats on monday. three local jewish centers got back to work today. over the past few weeks, more than 30 jewish centers across the country have been targeted with bomb threats. in loudoun county the community has raised more than $6,000 to renovate the veterans memorial. this memorial sits at sterling boulevard and holly avenue in sterling. it honors veterans from all service branches. the money will pay for stains removed from the marble and seal it to prevent future damage, also lighting and paving. rates of colon and rectal

music scene. the last standing kent mill record store is closing its doors. >> it has been here for 43 years. this is a huge blow to local musicians who depend on that store to sell their tunes. >> at its peak, there were nearly 40 stores. today this is the last kemp mill record store standing. they've lost their lease. they'll be closing up next month. while this signals the end of an era for our area as far as those big record store chains, it's also bad news for local musicians who have come to count on this store as a place where they can sell their original music, particularly the go go community. >> it's gone. and it's a very sad and somber thing, because we've had a lot

it wasn't until the water receded that the crew fixing the break also found an empty suv in that sinkhole. new video from california shows a man running from his burning home seconds after a plane crashed into his living room. other video shows the moment the plane went down in this riverside neighborhood. the plane carried a family on a trip to disneyland. three of the five people on board died. >> reporter: the cessna 310 heading for san jose crashed into two homes in riverside, california. the plane went down a half a mile northeast of the riverside airport around 4:30 near the home of a young woman who was shaken by the sound of an explosion. >> we felt like an earthquake type feel. we ran out and we just knew immediately it was an airplane crash. we heard the engine crashing. >> reporter: that plane broke into pieces upon impact.
